I had no idea that WQED co-produced this and the pilot was shot in Pittsburgh.
Finally got around to this. :thumb:

Lame how they killed it off for basically no reason. So much went into it that just went over my head when I was a kid, like how much the singing group contributed.

Headline: Yvette Nicole Brown says Community movie is coming!

Story: Yvette Nicole Brown says she's hopeful that a Community movie will happen.

Wait a minute.

Just as long as Chevy isn't in it, I'm in

They've been talking about a movie for some time. Even when they were still shooting the show they had a "six seasons and a movie" theme running between them.

Excellent! I still have it in my HBO Max list and got sad thinking we won't see any more of it.

I couldn't get past S1 of BB. BORING.
Is this purposefully a bad take orrrrr....?

Perhaps you could call it a bit slow for the first few episodes until Tuco shows up. But the writing and directing are never bad. I've never experienced a story told the way it was, which other than Bryan Cranston, made that show what it is. And that's no disrespect to the other actors, who also killed it for the entirety of the show's existence.
Nope, it was boring AF. I couldn't bring myself to continue.

Handmaid’s Tale is back in 2 weeks. In case anyone wanted to voluntarily feel like sh*t for 10 hours.

Is there an end date in sight for this? The last few seasons have felt like treading water.

If they manage to go an entire season without having Elizabeth Moss stare into the camera I’ll give it a 10 outta 10.

If I were a betting man, I'd put money down on that being part of the opening scene in the first episode.

Should have been 3 seasons. I think I heard 5. That’s too much awfulness

We all want to see the baddies go down. I’m very desperate to see something resembling happiness in this show. At least 2 more episodes to get there though....ugh

It’s renewed through season five, the producers have talked about 10 seasons which is **** ridiculous. They’ve had to do dumb stuff at the end of every season to keep it going and I can’t see that trend getting better.

I’m waiting for the episode that is nothing but a single long take of Elizabeth Moss reaction shots and viewers have to figure out what’s going on based on her c***y face.

We just finished watching the first episode of the new Ken Burns documentary "Hemingway". 2 hours in, it's as good as anything he's ever done. I only know the mythology of Hemingway, so it has not just been compelling but is also genuinely interesting. I didn't know so much of his early writing was quasi-autobiographical.

Evidently, there is a Mythic Quest one-off episode out today.

How does it hold up? Like a period piece, or do you just accept it for what it is?

Perhaps it's like a period piece, but only because of the technology involved. That said, if the show came out this year, it would still be just as great.

S04:
Can't believe they got to Stringer. Thought for sure he would go down in a later season. Loved his character.

So...... this Hemingway fellow was a giant doosh.
