:(

There is no one left in late night for me. Just not entertained by all of the chuckleheads on now.

As a side note, I knew Colbert was beating Fallon in the ratings, but I didn't realize how badly. WOW.

What’s with shows and short seasons? Just finished episode 6 of ‘Tribes of Europa’ on Netflix (great, BTW… Ulrich from Dark is in it), and it turns out that was the season finale.

Season 7 of Bosch
It was good, kind of anticlimactic. Felt rushed, not cooked enough.

Have not yet watched but I either didn’t know or completely forgot that it’s only 8 episodes. That’s not enough.

I don't understand why people read news about upcoming shows like NTP66. That would have been such an awesome reveal while watching the show and now it's ruined. It's self-spoilering and in this case actual spoilering.

God damnit, you're right. I deleted the original. I saw the headline, so there was no going back for me.

Yeah having that spoiled is kind of a bummer.

That show is one of my top three favorites of all time, and that season was the second best of the series, imo. It might be the best season overall, I just can't ignore:
the season Dokes gets killed; Dokes was just so good I have to put it at the top of the list even if the Lithgow season had a better overall arc.
The Google Now or whatever their in-browser/phone news aggregator is a **** spoiler machine. TV, movies, sports scores, whatever. That's a bummer, NTP66.

Well, hopefully I didn't spoil it for anyone else. It didn't even dawn on me to think of that, and I hate that I now saw a website put out that headline.
And Doakes was one of my favorites. Loved how it ended with him, but also wish he was on longer.

It's on the front page of r/television as well so no worries. I blame whoever leaked that info in the first place.

It was 100% a pseudo press release produced by his agency.

I think I’m going to rewatch NYPD Blue. I was thinking about it earlier today, and it has been so long that it’ll basically be like another first watch for me. I loved it, with exception to the Ricky Schroeder years. Also, **** David Caruso for jumping ship early for CSI Miami.

We don't watch many scripted TV shows, but we do like some competition shows like Top Chef. We've found the various city-specific Eater channels on Facebook to be rampant spoiler factories, if there's a chef from their town who's doing well or if they get eliminated. Next day, there will be something in my Feed with a spoilery headline.

He didn’t get CSI Miami until much later after a series of failures.

Most notably Jade.

Holy hell, 22 episode seasons for NYPD Blue. It's going to take me years to finish this rewatch.

Finished Lupin S2. Pretty good, I like how they wound the flashbacks together with the present. Shame it's only 5 episodes, though.

Shows are usually better when there is 20+ episodes in a season. It lends to better storytelling, since you don't have to rush the main arc out the door.

The new Star Trek shows suffer (IMO) from having too short of seasons. It's full throttle on the season arc with no time to breathe in between. Trek with 26 episode seasons was optimal.

I don't disagree at all. In fact, I love it. I just wasn't expecting it, because I'm so used to the 6-12 episode seasons that we get now.

I'm about ready to quit on the Handmaid's tale with season 4. Season one was really really good ...after that much like GOT it had no book to follow and it's just got progressively worse. This season has been a struggle to binge watch through, but I feel like I at least have to see it through to the end of this season. Not sure if I'll watch season 5.
