Mighty Ducks had a good start but has been pretty insufferable over the last few episodes. Not sure what the audience is? Young elementary kids and their parents that watched the original films?

The audience is now just people yelling at the TV because the mom/coach is so annoying

Finished Stranger Things season 2. I remember the Pittsburgh Goth Gang being much more involved. Really it's only the opening scene of the first episode and all of episode 7. Now, episode 7 is really **** bad. What makes it worse is you can 100% skip it and not be lost at all. That's a problem. But my memory of it was much pervasive in the season.

Season 2 is not close to the quality of 1. It's mostly missing the fun. Every character is kind of a drag. It felt more like a straight horror story than a Spielbergian kids-on-bikes 80s film. That said, Dustin is really good. His team up with Steve is perfect. I like Max and Lucas's story. Mike is a little dodint.
i didn't mind the premise of the goth gang episode. it's ok to take the story somewhere else to establish scope.

but the execution was bonkers...i don't know how any of those shitty cartoon characters made it out of the writer's room. them as a band of outlaws made no sense at all.

I knew they reminded me of something... Bebop and Rocksteady's gang from the TMNT cartoon.

Someone refresh my memory....when stranger things season 2 was released, was it all of the episodes at once or did they do it weekly?

Quick take after Stranger Things season 3, episode 1. This show should've ended after the second season. It was a perfect wrap up of the story, the final dance scene was sweet and gave a clear end point. Season 3 already feels forced with the re-opening of the gate. Also, I don't want to watch awkward teenagers make out.

I don't remember where the season goes from here and I'm sure there's some good stuff, but right now it feels unnecessary.

I'm of the opinion that season 4 should go back to its roots, focus on the kids and not some huge world-wide action/conspiracy dreck. Delve into the kids as high school seniors and how their relationships and friendships are changing/evolving/ending as happens to kids around that age, and throw in a couple monsters. If they did that, I'd be pretty darned excited for one more, final, season. But I have no real hope they'll go that route.

Mike hooking up with 11 while she's still basically mentally handicapped is somewhere they should have never gone.

@Dickie Dunn: You remember Billings from The Shield, right?

Image

On the latest episode of SWAT, he made an appearance - as Detective Billings. I have to assume that they’re **** with the audience, seeing as how he is now the fourth person from The Shield to also have a role in SWAT.

Underground Railroad was....really something else. Not sure "enjoyed it," is the right thing to say. Very tough to watch at times, beautifully shot, amazing group of actors, but man...it was challenging to watch the violence and brutality. I really wish - maybe for the first time ever - that they had dropped episodes weekly, so you could absorb each episode a bit before moving on to the next one. I do recommend watching it, however.

shad’s girl Ellen being replaced by Kelly Clarkson, who is awesome. Here she is on stage with Steel Panther to prove it.

No, but she basically recreated the scene later on in the reunion (not on purpose). I still give them :thumb: :thumb:

All of them are still working actors with decent careers after the show ended. It’s kind of a weird premise to do a reunion.

Did people stick with Friends the whole way? Once I got to college (4 or 5 seasons in), it was done for me. I feel like there was a pretty big trail off, but maybe it was just me.
