I really expected that show to suck but it doesn't.

After watching a few episodes, so happy that Salute your shorts holds up extremely well. Might have to keep paramount plus past the trial week to finish this out. Why no Pete and Pete on there though?

Oh man, I used to love Salute Your Shorts.

I did not know what to think starting it up again, but it's a really smart show through 3 episodes

The Rick Rubin-Paul McCartney documentary on Hulu was pretty good. Not sure why it was six 30 minute episodes instead of 3 one hour, or 2 90 minute episodes, but whatever.
They basically sat around a mixing console and isolated different parts of Beatles/Wings/Paul solo songs. Two blokes talking about music essentially. I knew how complex Beatles songs were, but when broken down via fader, it was insane some of the parts they laid on top of each other to create a groove or sound. Naturally, you think Sgt. Peppers or Revolver for audio layering, but some aspect was there with their early hits as well.

I needed something mindless and funny to watch before turning in to bed some nights and may have found what I needed in Tacoma FD. Pretty funny...and certainly not something that gets your mind racing. Lol.

I'm a fan - of most of it. It's an interesting premise, something different, with interesting story lines. I know the point of the "sitcom" aspect of it is to enforce the husband is the dumb idiot who deserves what he gets, but man - sometimes it's over the top annoying. And the dude's one weird eye is sometimes distracting.

I'm halfway through S2 of Breaking Bad. The wife loves it. I'm having a hard time rooting for any character. Walts family is insufferable which kind of undercuts the whole motivation of his mission.
There are no likable characters.
As an aside, when the Need For Speed movie came out Aaron Paul caught a lot of flack for his lifeless performance. Having not seen Breaking Bad before I had no baseline for comparison so I didn't know any better. He's fantastic as Jesse and I completely get why the NFS audience would have been put off by his sleeping through that effort.

I feel like alot of people rooted for Walt the first time through watching BB, which kind of misses the whole point of the show IMO (I was guilty of this somewhat). On subsequent watchthroughs I became much more sympathetic to Skylar overall.

Skylar was a bit insufferable but Walter Jr. I thought was good in his role. Also thought Hank was a great character. Tough guy, over confident, complete idiot.
The show gets so much better when Gus and Saul appear, IMO.

I love Dean Norris and the performance but I think Hank pretty well represents everything most people hate about policing in 2021 so it's tough to root for him on the whole.

I really hated Walt and felt like the “nice guy” part of him was a pure facade. That's why the show never progressed beyond "really good" for me. My mom loved Walt and was very sympathetic toward him. I tried to tell her that he was an extremely horrible person, but he had cancer so she gave him carte blanche.

I just think it's funny how there are no good people. Even Jesse's little brother f'd him over.

The scene where it cuts to Puddy in his apartment and he is just sitting on the couch staring at the wall is gold. You immediately wonder how long he has been sitting there staring off into space.Watched the whole thing, would watch again, 10/10.

To your original point, I don't think I rooted for anybody either. At first you root for Walt, but by the end maybe rooting for Jesse?I love Dean Norris and the performance but I think Hank pretty well represents everything most people hate about policing in 2021 so it's tough to root for him on the whole.
The acting is great, save for a few performances.

Boy meets world is holding up well as eddy mentioned. But I fall asleep to it and it must have the worst theme music i've ever heard

When I was a kid, I thought Corey & Topanga was true love... that's relationship goals. As I grow older, I find Corey and Topanga being more and more toxic as a couple and actually gravitate more toward Corey's parents as being relationship goals.
