not really. i don't think you read either post that carefully if this is the takeawayCommenting that riding a bike at 1am is dangerous after someone riding a bike at 1am dies ≠ not okay.
Commenting that a 60ish year old's death isn't a big deal because old = okay.
What an odd take.

Fox has a bad history with shows based on the premise of being the last man on a world.

FWIW, I’m excited for the bottom tweet - WWDITS. One of the funniest shows on TV, IMO.

I'm excited for Y The Last Man but I'm confused. Is it only on Hulu? wtf is FX on Hulu?
I googled it. Apparently it's just a hub on Hulu for FX shows so yes, Y The Last Man is exclusive to Hulu.

I'm happy that Y the Last Man finally got made. Hopefully it doesn't suck.

Netflix shitcanned Jupiter’s Legacy one month after the premiere.

I'm getting tired of Netflix chasing hits and giving up on them early

To be fair, it looks horrendous. They had a $220m budget and it looks like they had Walmart make the costumes and design the set.

Finally finished Stranger Things S3. This one took me the longest to get through and that says a lot about the drop in quality. The characters at this point have become caricatures of themselves, especially Hopper and Will's mom. I know somebody said Alexei is the best part of the season, and I also remembered him being a high point but I was surprised just how little he's in it. He really only gets a small portion of one episode to be the goofy slurpy Russian guy before he's gone. I did like the Billy storyline but that ends up being fairly inconsequential. The whole season plays like a generic horror movie (with some action set pieces) that lacks the charm of season 2 much less season 1.
Oh and the best part of the season isn't Alexei. It's the NeverEnding Story singalong.

The one that got Hopper “killed” that nobody feels bad about or even mentions? Super duper scene that was.

Read that recap and can't remember these people. Probably speaks to how unremarkable that season was.

@eddy: How are you enjoying Shadow and Bone? I just finished episode 4, and so far really like it. Just saw that it was renewed on Netflix for S02, as well.

We watched it all in a day. Entire family loved it. Wife, daughter and myself got pretty into the book series right before it aired, so that made it more fun as well. I bought my boys old school metal cap guns and found the rolls of caps as well, so they dress like Jesper and have the gun twirling down. Can't wait for more, I thought they did an excellent job with everything@eddy: How are you enjoying Shadow and Bone? I just finished episode 4, and so far really like it. Bo Burnham: Inside is an interesting look at pandemic life. It's so steeped in 2020 that its release feels too late as the world (or at least the US) has moved on from the place where much of the content was sourced.
Still, I enjoyed it. I wouldn't classify it as stand up, however. Hell, it's barely comedy. It's more like an experiment or performance art, or a one-man show. There are definitely funny moments but he seems more interested in documenting the weirdness of 2020 than going for the joke. White Woman Instagram is amazing and probably the highlight for me.

i haven't watched much new TV since the beginning. are there any TV shows who have actually woven COVID into the plot? like...people wearing masks and the whole deal.Bo Burnham: Inside is an interesting look at pandemic life. A Million Little Things has, yes. It's a good show, and it's not the main focus at all, but it's definitely part of this season.Source of the post are there any TV shows who have actually woven COVID into the plot? like...people wearing masks and the whole deal.

Yeah there are quite a few who have incorporated Covid into the plot. Off the top of my head, Grey's Anatomy, This is Us, The Conners, SVU, Superstore. Of those, Grey's has been the most extreme which makes sense really.i haven't watched much new TV since the beginning. are there any TV shows who have actually woven COVID into the plot? like...people wearing masks and the whole deal.Bo Burnham: Inside is an interesting look at pandemic life. Bo Burnham's special is a completely different beast, though.

I liked how Last Man Standing just fast forwarded to 2022. They would reference COVID when needed but it was rarely mentioned, which is best.
Lame finale for a deteriorating show, btw. Good riddance.

Agreed... I enjoyed it up until the hiatus between ABC and FOX. Then it had one of the actresses re-cast, and then another one unavailable, except for the occassional guest star appearance.I liked how Last Man Standing just fast forwarded to 2022.
