This is a pet peeve of mine. We have hundreds of channels and the internet. Anyone that wants to know the poll results can go ahead and use any of those lines of communication. It's not 1963 where they had 4 stations and that was the only way to find out Kennedy was shot.
What's worse is that they're early numbers, and nowhere near complete.
Ah. That brings back memories of the time WTAE decided to run their storm warning panic... Right as the Korean couple on Lost were conversing in Korean, thua covering the subtitles. Good times.
At least it was just a scrolling ticker. I can't recall which show it was, but our local Fox broadcast switches to PIP during a show to bring you the weather. Instead of putting the weatherman in the tiny window, the show you were watching goes there. I'm not even talking about serious storms, but a simple rainfall.
