Saw this, zeise is just such an immensely disappointing human being. His takes are always dump town, and his voice is insufferable on the radio.
And then you parlay those deficiencies to politics. He’s just sprawling dumb oaf guy energy. Atleast with Steigerwald you get bill Mitchell type alien brain takes.

Kids back in school in person 2 days a week, driving over there this morning had Teh Fan on for 20 min. Pirates made huge trade, Penguins finally win in regulation although not inspiring, so natch the topic was the Stillers. I was impressed that there were only 5 min worth of commercials in that stretch.

Did you guys see the whole fight between Mark Madden, TJ Watt, and the Pgh media with Madden saying Watt skipped out of his exit interview. Classic stuff.

Kids back in school in person 2 days a week, driving over there this morning had Teh Fan on for 20 min. Pirates made huge trade, Penguins finally win in regulation although not inspiring, so natch the topic was the Stillers. I was impressed that there were only 5 min worth of commercials in that stretch.
They mention the Pens during the news updates and maybe if everyone feels like beating up on Matt Murray/Jack Johnson types. That is it.

That's probably my feelings as well. Madden pushes buttons, but I don't see him as someone that would just outright lie. The source probably heard or saw one thing, and only has part of the story and Madden trust this source. But it was just funny last night.
Again, does this happen in other markets, or just da Burg?

It happens everywhere there is a fanbase and talk radio. It happened last year in Charlotte with Cam Newton, and I don't think the Panthers fanbase is half as rabid as the Steelers.
I mean we all know this, but the Steelers fan base is something else. First day back to hybrid in person for my kids, and I picked up a kid for our new carpool. One of his neighbors has ENORMOUS Steelers flags/banners outside of their house. Like what hangs outside Heinz Field. In the middle of nowhere SC. It's unreal.

I'm considering making a fake Twitter account and passing along a "I saw Geno smoking cigs at the Virginia Ave CoGos" rumor to see if he runs with it, considering he only seems to go after people who don't come on his show.

I guess Pittsburgh Dad Jr. implying that was the reason GMJR resigned. But later in the day Yohe, Rossi, and GMJR himself on Madden's show basically shot that idea down.
Pittsburgh Dad Jr. has never had the inside scoop on anything except what is going on in his neighbors yard. Who were his sources? Joey in Blawnox? Can't imagine someone telling him a secret.

I enjoyed this one, because the Fan (Pittsburgh Dad Jr.) roasted Madden for his "sources" being refuted directly by Watt. Then GMJR quits, and instantly refutes Pittsburgh Dad Jr.'s sources about him quitting over not being able to trade Letang. Literally days a part, and Pittsburgh Dad Jr. gets all miffed because his "sources" are "wrong" too.
