By the way the worst part of listening to Trib Live Radio is the Blush commercials...nothing like listening to Ken Laird read about strippers.

I'm not a heavy Twitter user or anything. Is there a way to set it so you don't see retweets from a specific user? Like, if i only want to see original content from them?

Hey, I was wrong.

If you click on their profile, then click on Settings (the little gear), you can Turn Off Retweets. I went to unfollow and then stumbled into it.

Excellent.

No, LOL. I just hate when people retweet Rossi or Madden. I don't follow them, why should I have to read retweets?

I don't think it works like that. Only works if you don't want to see what someone is retweeting, not pick and choose which content you don't want to see retweeted.

Yeah, I shut down retweet factory DK. I think you'd have to block all of Rossi to not see other people retweet him.

The blog I was following went under at Christmas and I need to replace it.
Late on this, but I'm guessing this in reference to the blog I was a part of (I'll look like a tool when its not lol). Wish we could still do it, jsut terrible timing. Cliffnotes: All 3 of us are in school, while working full-time, while hunting for better jobs... Blog started to impede on that, so wasn't the right timing

No, unless you turn off retweets for everyone you follow.

It's like the foe feature here and at the other board. You can't see their posts unless someone quotes them.

Cook has somehow managed to become even more obnoxious than Poni. I lasted half a segment before I gave up. Wanted to listen because at least they were talking Pens.

Stan was talking Steelers schedule and proffering kicksave level Antonio brown hot takes, so that was even worse.

I chose silence.

This morning's discussion about HCMJ's post-game comments confirmed my suspicion that Colin Pittsburgh Dad Jr. is a complete and utter moron.

This morning's discussion about HCMJ's post-game comments confirmed my suspicion that Colin Pittsburgh Dad Jr. is a complete and utter moron.
What did he say?
It's kind of being discussed here: viewtopic.php?p=25565#p25565, but in general he cherry picked three comments from HCMJ post-game press conference that he thought displayed his "incompetence" and that, combined with his "lack of emotion and energy", shows that he's in over his head and should be fired. Miller and Colony pretty much disagreed with everything he said.

I don't remember the first comment, but it was basically about how they're playing good enough hockey and the system is working, they just need to focus on generating more scoring chances and the goals will follow, they just haven't followed to this point.

The second comment was about how he doesn't want Malkin's line to focus on scoring more goals, but instead generating more scoring chances. To me, the obvious statement here is that more scoring chances = more goals, but also that when players focuses solely on goals instead of the overall process of creating goals they tend to press, play too aggressive, and lose their positioning, making an unproductive line negatively productive.

The third comment was about how he only got to see a quick replay of the GWG, but from what he saw it looked like their positioning was textbook, the puck just bounced its way free and once it was free they didn't do anything to stop it.

All three are rational thoughts from a coach that has maintained his demeanor all season long, which bothers Pittsburgh Dad Jr. because he's a moron who thinks Johnston should be pulling a Torterella.

So in the wake of elimination which PGH media member will make the story about them today? Rossi and DK really stepped their games up this week in this respect.
