Yea, Pittsburgh Dad Jr. tries to keep it light in the morning, but its forced. Kingerski is a better fit.

Its most definitely Chris Mack filling in this week.

I wouldn't let Dan Kingersky host a show on a college radio station.

I was listening to the morning show today on the FAN with Chris Mack, Josh Miller and Jim Colony. I actually enjoyed it.
Never cared for Mack on his own show, but he hasn't been terrible this week. Then again, it's been limited listening on my way to work, which is maybe 15-20 min minus commercials.

Side note, have they been played more commericals than usual? I left my place in Greentree and they just started going to commercial. They didn't get back to the show until I passed Robinson Town Center, or about 10 minutes into my drive. I know we all joke about the number of commercials, but isn't 10 minutes a bit excessive?

The commercial thing was discussed a page or two prior to this one and the consensus was a most definite yes. The format of the show changed pretty severely and is now basically: Segment, commercial, Sports Update, Commercial, etc. They might discuss sports for a total of 15 minutes ever hour.

Chris Mack was always pretty decent back on 1250ESPN.

Definitely better than Pittsburgh Dad Jr..

Had a late flight last Friday and was pulling out of the airport parking lot at 1 AM.

Am I the only one that didn't think the go sell ice cream thing was that funny? Certainly not to the extent that were still every time rossi is mentioned going "LOL SELL ICE CREAM ROB LOL." I more enjoyed that Rutherford called him an a**hole. There's so much damn material you can humiliate rossi with and Go sell ice cream is the only one people want to trot out there. I'm not sure it was funny enough to warrant 3 months continuous use.

Fun fact. This board apparently capitalizes "Warrant" into the proper name.

Listened to TFMS today on the way to work since I knew from this thread that Pittsburgh Dad Jr. was on vacation and figured they'd have the scoop on Kessel. KDKA <3 commercials. Good lord, as if Pittsburgh Dad Jr. himself wasn't reason enough to not listen anymore.

Is there a daily sports recap show on Root or only if there was a Pens or Pirates game?

Colin Pittsburgh Dad Jr. is the worst.

This morning he plays a snippet of himself on St. Louis radio yesterday because he started a hashtag #HateTheCards. He was all indignant because after the St. Louis station got done interviewing him and he was off the line, they made some comments that the hashtag was stupid and Pittsburgh isn't that great of a city.

So he rants about how he quadrupled their show's ratings and the guy only has 1,200 twitter followers. Miller and Colony were basically silent and just said "ya."

Is he just blissfully unaware that he presents himself as a self-important jerk?

In his defense, the woman on the St. Louis radio show had an all-time terrible comment for a sports radio station. She said something to the effect of: "There are bigger things to hate. Shouldn't we have a #HateISIS hashtag?"

Facepalm. Know your role

I've seen Pittsburgh Dad Jr. use that quadrupled the ratings nonsense when he was arguing with people on twitter. I saw the charts, the "spike" in ratings is so minimal it can't possible be attributed to anything other tha the time he joined. Steelers in playoffs.. Super Bowl.. March madness, Pens playoffs.. Pirates season starting. It's like having $10 in your account, depositing a 20 then braging that you tripled your net worth.
