He's forced to face stronger, faster, better coached DBs. It's a reasonable trade off.

I think the only knock on this era in that comparison is that the league has changed the rules to turn Matt stafford into a 5,000 yard passer. It's a significant knock.

while i would guess that Browm is better the tradeoff isnt close to reasonable.

Agree with this. You had a giant target on your back as a WR back then. On top of the threat of being sent into a coma on any given play over the middle, rules like holding and DPI are enforced much more strictly nowadays. It is useless to try and compare across generations, although I do believe AB is the better receiver overall.
