So did he need to come down with the ball in control no matter where he landed?
If he landed in bounds he could bobble it all he wants, but since he slid out of bounds he needed to show complete control while being out of bounds


It was pretty easily a non-catch call
Definitely the right call. But the rules are just dumb. The rules shouldn't change on the sideline. If he was in bounds, that's either a fumble or he'd be down. Play should be over when he crosses the goal line

It would be easier to call from far away. Theyll get it right but i have a hard time blaming a call from that close.
