What are your thoughts on two of the largest beer companies merging?

I hate Budweiser and it gives me the poops, and Miller is one of my favorite, so they better not mess with the formula.

Budweiser sucks. Miller is pretty decent so would be a shame if they messed with it.

I like Michelob Light (not Ultra), Bud Light Platinum, and Bud Select.

I miss Bud American Ale.

Rivertowne brewery is 2.2 miles from my work. Also Bud and Miller suck.

On those rare occasions when Mrs Tif makes chili, she uses Bud as part of the braise. IDK why, but that's the only beer she ever uses.

Exactly, this is way more complicated than the title presumes. There's monopoly laws from all over the world this would have to pass through and then Molson coors has to have their say as well.

a pony bottle of Bud has given me a headache. It's true, it's true.

I could also do an all-day cookout with "several" Lites and feel nothing the next morning.

It's not always necessary to drink high-end beer, and sometimes one just does want a fizzy barley pop (i.e., a beer in the class of what I refer to as "Generic American Beer"). I see no reason to buy a national brand like Bud or Miller when there are other options for adjunct lagers at similar price points. I'd rather buy a Straub, Genesee, or even Iron City than a Budmillercoors.

Hate Bud, but Miller is my go to when cutting the grass and I need to drink something that tastes like water.

When golfing I drink it. No reason to drink craft brews on the golf course.

that's silly to say, only reason I can think of is if the pro shop doesn't carry craft. Why wouldn't you want to drink something good and refreshing while you are outside on the course?
