Leftover pizza rocks. But only if reheated in the oven on a pizza stone so that it gets crispy again.
I've found using the "toast" option in a toaster oven crisps it up beautifully in about 3-4 minutes, and I've found because it is so hot it tastes even better than the first time. I really want to try the olive oil/frying pan reheat method

I didn't know that was a thing. Definitely have to try that.

Reheating pizza in a frying pan and/or cast iron skillet is so damn good that the next time I order a pizza I might just let the entire thing sit for a day before eating it.

I'm one of the people who just can't do leftovers. They always taste so bad.
You've clearly never had leftover lasagna. It tastes better with each passing day
I agree. I am also a fan of leftover pizza. That can be a taste sensation.
Breakfast pizza is one of the greatest joys in life.

my brothers would eat cold, leftover pizza for breakfast. I can't imagine ever doing that, even if I was dying of starvation

Leftover pizza and leftover pasta is both garbage.
The quality of leftover pasta is largely dependent upon your reheating method, which is determined by the condiment. Pastas dressed with a ragú should be warmed up in the oven (toaster on bake would be good). Pastas in an oil-based sauce should be reheated in a pan (with a little fresh oil). You want to be careful that you just warm the stuff through, as putting too much heat into the stuff will overcook the noodles.

In college, we would always order an extra pie just to make sure we had enough for breakfast the next day.

Also, through trial and error we learned that Little Cesar's makes the best breakfast pizza. Actually preferred it over their fresh pizza.

Leave it to 5AF to have a disagreement about the best way to go about tarting up leftover pizza.

Only certain pizzas can be eaten cold, for example...a "vinnie pie" is horrible cold and as a leftover.

Objectively, the best way to heat up leftover pizza is the frying pan or cast iron skilet/olive oil method. There's really no getting around it.

I wonder what views we would get on leftover sandwiches? Personally, I'd never eat leftover hotdogs. :pop:

I generally cook a week's worth of food on Sunday, put it all in the fridge, and then reheat and eat the rest of the week. Of course I'm taking the food home in a doggie bag.
