Doggie Bag?

Out to eat at that place you waited an 1 1/2 hours to get into, you are enjoying the greatest Tosty Mufgalata advertised by Foodie Blog.com when you realize that 1/4 plate left is too much to eat. After the bejenkins spicy garlic verminon appetiser, you were kind of full. Wait staff offers the white Styrofoam container to take home as a doggie bag.

Dump it in the Styrofoam for a next morning treat to analyze and enjoy the leftover contents?;

Let the wait staff dispose of this most tasty, unfinished, highly rated, expensive meal, saving a container.

Research project. No, no little waffer mint is offered.

with 3 kids, I get excited (until I see the bill) about going out to eat, because I know their little stomachs will not be able to eat all of their meal and that means snacks for ma and pa later. I try not to think of it like I'm basically ordering extra food for me later.

The trick part of this question is everyone knows that unlike lasagna which gets even better the next day once all the flavors have mixed together, you gotta eat Tosty Mufgalata as soon as you order it. Next day you might as well go to Long John Silver's.

I'm one of the people who just can't do leftovers. They always taste so bad.

if I'm thinking the right food, in this situation, I would proceed to split up the muffaletta into separate containers so there would be no sogginess in the bread or cross contamination that could decrease the quality of the meal the next day.

You've clearly never had leftover lasagna. It tastes better with each passing day

I agree. I am also a fan of leftover pizza. That can be a taste sensation.

The key to reheating pizza is using a skillet. Microwaved pizza is garbage.

Leftover pizza rocks. But only if reheated in the oven on a pizza stone so that it gets crispy again.

Definitely no qualms with pasta...I generally don't eat pizza anymore, but when I did, toaster oven or regular oven turned it out pretty good...microwaved pizza sucks...

Generally, I have no qualms about leftovers. There was a time in my life where I would buy like a "family size" thing of chicken and cook it all at one time and then heat it up over the week...
