I cannot understand how someone can never ever learn clock management.
If your salary has two commas in it and high school coaches can master it then you have no excuse.

You would think by now Tomlin would know how to manage a **** clock by now.
i think ben has decided to not worry about such things for the rest of his career. too stressful.

Horrible call. Falling down into a hand to lose your helmet is not a penalty.

Coach can call a TO on the side line. If he sees the team not ready he needs to act.

Sadly, I wouldn't think that at all.

And then loses the helmet on the next play.

if you need your coach to spoon feed your grownup QB on the concepts of minutes and seconds, you're already screwed.

we have a lunkhead behind center. it has worked well for us at times. it has cost us at times.

Well, we kinda knew what to expect. Sadly, they gave us hope and then took it away.

Thanks for joining me in the inaugural 2015 GDT. See you next week...with better results.

Major weaknesses over the last 4 years that haven't been addressed (lack of NT to clog the middle, bad corners, non-existent safeties, terrible red zone calling, Todd Haley eating paste while calling plays, time management) all show up in one game and nuke a chance to beat a good team on the road. What are the odds?

He was trying to get the play off. If th coach sees it won't happen then call TO. The clock management has never been on Ben. Ever.

The Pats drives:

Punt
TD
TD
End of Half
TD
Punt
TD
Punt
Punt
End of Game

Take out the kneeldowns and the Pats scored on 4 of the 6 drives while the game was still in doubt. The last two punts came after Tomlin waved the white flag and punted with 8 minutes left down two scores. The Pats converted 63% of their third downs. Don't tell me the defense played well. The Steelers offense did everything they could to limit the defense's exposure. The defense still gave up over 6 yards/play. And it might have been good enough if just once Haley's offense efficiently converted their yards into points.
