Just ordered a couple pounds of food grade Diatomaceous earth - AMA

Postby Algernon » Tue Apr 12, 2016 2:09 pm

Is it available in a reasonable way in pill form, such as but not limited to this: http://www.swansonvitamins.com/alta-hea ... hgod_mYMyg

Or do you have go dig it up / get it in powder form...?
Wtf? Hes eating it for silica? Silica is like the cheapest supplement there is.
DE is 5 bucks for 15 pounds lol.

It doesn't get any cheaper than that

Silica? I get silica in packets with our laptop shipments all the time.

I'm also sure that those packets say "Do not eat"

How do you consume this product? Do you make a paste and spread it on other, hardened bars of dirt? Do you put mustard on it?

I think inhaling silica makes you stop breathing...

I'm guessing he mixes the dirt into water...I'm not sure what that turns into though...

Jerky Boys reference. In that instance, it was insulation consumption rather than dirt.

One of my regular podcasts did an episode on eating dirt:

http://www.maximumfun.org/sawbones/sawb ... ating-dirt

Results were surprisingly favorable.

Just because something's food grade doesn't mean you eat it? I use food grade spray lubricant on my kitchen slicer. I don't do shots of it.

Jokes aside, did you see tangible benefits to the dirt consumption?

So update on this.

I know there's a lot of Bullspit/quackery out there.

After careful review, jokes aside.... this stuff is 100% legit.

My skin has never been clearer than when I'm downing a tbsp and a half of this stuff with some good belly fruit juice everyday.

I use to have to this skin thing called keratosis pilaris. It's completely gone. Never really had a problem with acne but I don't even so much as have a stray pimple right now.

DE + Probiotics..... it's **** amazing.

Okay so DE = Silica.

Silica is a pretty vital nutrient that isn't really found in the modern diet. Id go on but no one is going to take my word for it, I just figured I'd say I like the stuff.
