I like Spotify because I have 90% of the world's music at my fingertips any time I want to listen to it. There are only a handful of bands that I have searched for but are not available; Tool, The Beatles, Traveling Wilburys

Honestly, I don't like any of the streaming services; they're just another tool by which labels can put the screws to the creative people who make the music.

The nice feature about Pandora is that you could merge them and have the player shuffle through all of them. With 20 carefully chosen sections, I was able to simulate my record collection (for listening at work).

My dislike isnt related to helping creative people, i just dont see a reason to use them when i have a library of music on an mp3 player. 2/3 of that stuff i may never listen to anyway. I have way more than enough.

Well one big thing for me is I'm not super into music, and the only radio station around here worth listening to is a classic rock station, so listening to Pandora is usually my way of finding new bands.

My music consumption has plummeted since podcasts gained popularity. I have basically no interest in finding new music. I come across things every once in a while or just check still active bands every few months to find theyve released new stuff.

Same here. Music is basically background noise for when I'm working intensely. Podcasts wrecked audiobooks and casual music for me.

I think that's why I like Spotify too, I listen to a lot of EDM/Trance music because I don't want to hear words while I work. It's something I'd never put on my iPhone.

My iPhone is all I use when I travel/drive/workout, I don't need Spotify or Pandora when I'm anywhere else but work.
