Carl Jung vs Sigmund Freud

To many, Carl Jung and Sigmund Freud defined the world of psychology. Their theories, although differing, have had the greatest impact on our perception of the human mind, and their contributions to theory and practice have led to the development of successful psychological treatments for the wide spectrum of human distress.

Who do you agree with more?

I'm really not a fan of either. Freud has almost completely been discredited since his time. Jung was a little more reasonable and had some good ideas that are still used.

They're both kinda dopey, but of the two I'd go with Jung simply because of the ties with Batman stuff.

Jung was about personality types right? I really like the MBTI as a practical application for understanding how someone ticks (mostly business-related, but personal is nice too) and if he was the genesis of the concept, Jung all day.

Freud had some raw yet at the time completely unheard of ideas that the bases of which are still used today. Jung took those ideas and refined them into something more applicable by today's standards and well more less offensive to some. Carl Ho Jung Kang wins by an inch.
