My response is "Is that all?" I've actually tested higher than that. But I don't feel the need to point that out or brag about it.

People who volunteer their IQ are sort of in the same vein as short people who know to the fraction of an inch exactly how tall they are.

There was a point where he provided listening value. Now its just pimping guys who fo interviews with him and bashing guys who dont.

Hence why i haven't listened in 3 years.

I agree. I'm fine with the gimmick, but his Butt hurt of those who don't do interviews with him and love affair of those who do is a bit much.

Imagine if his public enemy number 1 mccutchen appeared on his show on a regular basis? He'd be going on Pittsburgh doesn't appreciate what they have rants every day.

What makes someone think "im going to make a gimmick and employ it immediately upon joining a web community" and in the meantime uses the incorrect word as part of the gimmick? Assuming its not a spelling issue, you're doing an inception type reach on hoping people get your schtick.

VOTF is either a staffer at CBS radio or is actually just Pittsburgh Dad Jr.. but I enjoyed reading this nonetheless.

If you take Madden seriously, I think you're taking life too seriously. If you take Madden as funny, then you probably aren't overly investing your thoughts in radio show hosts, and that's a good thing.

If the oldest and most basic wrestling schtick of someone bragging about how smart and rich they are gets under your skin, I don't really know what to tell you. Madden's so good at what he does that even me as a fan has to take a few days off some times cuz he still irritates me, even tho I know exactly what he's doing. That works perfect because the casual listeners will always love it and the loyal listeners will just take a day or 2 off but always tune back in. The only thing I can't stand is when he's wrong (and this usually just pertains to the Pirates) he pulls out that Special Ed from "Crank Yankers" yeahhhh, to mock people. Week after week after week last year he was dead wrong about JHay, and every time he mocked the fans for... being happy a player on their team is doing well??? That never made any sense.

Most recently he ripped them all week, they sweep the dodgers so whats he do on Monday? "Yaaaay, we won yaaaay. Sweep, yaaaaayyy." That stuffs just moronic. Catch him calling in to Stan's show, its fantastic. When he does his weekly DVE spot, he's very funny. Pens live radio, he's great. That's why its easy for me to enjoy his main show cuz I know the deal, and when it gets to be too much, I quit listening for a while.
