And back to Lamar Jackson. If I was a fan of that team, I would be unhappy at him as franchise QB. He's already shown he often wilts in big moments. And this just portrays terrible leadership. He could have set the example and ordered his squad to get vaccinated for the good of the team and their (and special emphasis on their) community.
Instead, he has probably directly convinced thousands of others to not get the vaccine because they worship the guy. Just pisses ya off.

Pat McAfee had a funny reaction this. He said, "I was just going about my day, driving through tahn, all excited that football is back. Colts look good. Gonna be a good year.... what's this? A notification on my phone....... CARSON WENTZ IS F**KING HURT ALREADY."Colts' Carson Wentz to visit foot specialist after missing practice, surgery possible, per reports

So stupid.

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was noncommittal on whether he would get vaccinated after being infected with COVID-19 twice in the past eight months, saying it was a "personal decision."
"I just got off the COVID list," Jackson said after Monday's practice when asked if he would get the vaccine. "I got to talk to my team about this and see how they feel about it. Keep learning as much as I can about it. We'll go from there."
Does that mean he's thinking about getting vaccinated?
"We'll see," Jackson said. "Talking to the doctors. We'll see."

I thought I saw on NFL Network that the coaches were surprised he was back because this go around he had some major symptoms and thought it was going to be a while. So stupid.

He needs to get better so he can go back to sucking at football.

Heaven forbid he has to 'dwell' on this.
I mean, part of me is kind of reveling in watching the Ravens' cart disintegrate in real-time; I mean, more of this, please. But the bigger part of me that recognizes the importance of mass vaccination wants to staple a giant I AM A GIANT DUMMY sign to his forehead.

NFL should go full Scarlet Letter and make them wear white helmets.

Yellow wrist bands, have to wear masks when talking to press, can't co-mingle with vaxxed players and staff at the facility, etc.Aren't they making them wear yellow wrist bands, at least during camp?NFL should go full Scarlet Letter and make them wear white helmets.
19 teams have surpassed the 90% vax rate among their camp rosters, which is fantastic. But so long as the holdouts are players like your MVP QB1, it complicates things. If I have to prove that I'm vaccinated to get into SoFi to view the game in person (and I'm perfectly fine with doing so), the players should have to prove they're vaxxed to partake in the show.
NFL
Refusal to get the shot should be grounds for voiding a player's contract and forfeiting all unpaid guaranteed money, and should preempt a player's rights from being picked up by another team. F**k these dipshits, extremely.
NFL
Just put them on one of those quasi-secret Commissioners lists, like when someone gets caught forcing their dick into someone and the Commish needs to think about it for an indefinite period.
