you guys are talking about maybe 10 people out of the 75k that attend each game. tough sht, no one needs to inconvenience a process for .01% of a population that's in the stone age

The last time the kangaroo tried to scalp a ticket was back in college for a pitt-uva football game. I left my ticket by home on accident and tried to scalp one. some jagoff scalper asked for like $40 or something for a student ticket. what kind of businessperson would charge that rate for a pitt football student ticket

I’m assuming the technology to scan phone tickets will remain QR code/barcode/whatever, which can be done on physical tickets tooyou guys are talking about maybe 10 people out of the 75k that attend each game. tough sht, no one needs to inconvenience a process for .01% of a population that's in the stone age
I’m not saying they shouldn’t move to virtual tickets (they should; better for the environment and easier to manage), but if someone requests a physical ticket, those should be able to be printed out

So is this one of this "I'm going to say I'm in control, but it's because nobody wants me or won't pay me" tweets? I feel like guys that say this are simply saying it because it's hard to admit that the NFL is passing them by. Steven Nelson included.

also, I hope I get to a point in my life where I can do things and leave my phone and any other tech at home. I bring my phone with my everywhere and it obviously is nice, but I do have a detachment from the world around me to a degree
It’s why I don’t have a smart watch (well I do, but literally the only time I use it is to track exercise. I don’t have a cellular plan for my watch). I want to reduce my dependence on technology going forward, not increase it
Also I say this as a software engineer(ing manager) that spends 8+ hours a day ona laptop

Penn State joined the Big10 while I was a student. The first couple years I made rent money selling my student tix for the Ohio State and Michigan home games. The last time the kangaroo tried to scalp a ticket was back in college for a pitt-uva football game. One of my good friends lives in State College and about 2 blocks from the Nittany Inn so it's a good location. Pre Covid he would Airbnb his house out during Penn State Home Weekends + graduation Weekends (so like 10 weekends out of the year) and it paid for his mortgage.Penn State joined the Big10 while I was a student.
