PGA TOUR 2K21 is on sale for $20 in the play store right now. Downloading as we speak. I have The Golf Club 19, so not expecting much difference...but looking forward to giving this a shot.

TIL that the $100 credit that Microsoft gave me for the Flight Simulator ordeal from late last year expires this December. Kinda shitty to put an expiration date on this.

Finally got into Outriders. The aim sensitivity isn’t as refined as other games, but it’s not bad. You start off in some amazing scenery, but are eventually brought to a hellscape of dust, dirt, and barrenness. I hate that, and wish games would get away from this. The world is just so bland right now.

A major issue for me is that whenever you go I go settings to change something, the game isn’t actually paused. I got killed multiple times as I went in to adjust things like HDR brightness - because the game is so **** dark, which I also hate - and other things.

You have to choose a path to continue in the game, and it’s irreversible with your character.
What platform are you using? I heard there were a lot of server issues on PC.

Xbox, and we've experienced the same issues. Apparently, the developers thought it would be a good idea to force singleplayer users to only be able to play the game while online and connected, too. So **** dumb.

I bought Offliners Outriders yesterday. Think I'm going to dip into it today. Will be my first shooter on keyboard and mouse after getting used to playing Valheim on kb&m.

I'd be interested in hearing what you think about the aim in Outriders. It's average at best, IMO.

Finished up Blasphemous. Very nice Metroidvania, and it was only 10 bucks on sale. Fun game. It can be fairly difficult at points, but it was never throw-the-controller-across-the-room difficult. It does suffer from a not-uncommon problem in that there is a "true" ending that is only unlocked after doing something that is completely obtuse and not at all anything that the game tells you to do at any point. I only found it after getting the "bad" ending and checking the internet to see if there was anything else.

The game does have lots of really gory imagery, so I wouldn't recommend it for little kids.

Good thing people make really good Augusta clones on PGA 2k21

Close range was definitely a little wonky but mid to long range with AR and snipe felt good. The switch to mouse for sniping felt awesome. I was pretty solid on controller but I should be pretty darn nasty with mouse. Had a buddy play on Xbox and said the controls are a bit funky which doesn't surprise me.

Yeah. I just wish 2K could marry their gameplay with the presentation/game modes that EA has.

Played a few rounds, and I really like some of the changes...especially with the short game and spin. The game still punishes you for bad shots, and I'm not draining nearly as many mid-range putts...all of which makes it feel more authentic.

Lol yeah no in game map; and until you get a compass you need to use the sun to orient north. I’m just playing scav to loot and learn where all the extractions are on the map.

I dont think I've been as excited for/anticipating the release of a video game as much as I am for The Show. The baseball itch needs scratched.

Just got my PSN account hacked. Was charged for Watch Dogs Legion and Cricket 19. Immediately contacted support to regain access to my account and get a refund. When I was finally able to sign in, there was a Call of Duty game in my cart unclaimed which was odd.

Should I change my credit card or should I be ok since I removed the card from my account? PSN doesn’t actually show your credit card number.

Anything else I should do?

Astro aqua kitty is very fun. Kind of a cross of blaster master and lifeforce. For $10, it's a no brained for me. Music is terrific.

When you say "Lifeforce"....... do you mean the naked space vampire movie? Cos that would be equal parts sad and amazing.
