1 day and 7 hours invested in Fallout 4 so far at lvl 31 and lots more quests to go
I'm on my second character. Used the first to get a feel for the gameplay/quests/factions and now I'll probably do an RP as a BoS soldier. Limitless potential in this game.
I'm going for all achievements, don't know if that's possible with 1 character?

Just imagine it: You have this cool job at Konami, helping keep the U.S. or European gears moving for a major publisher of beloved video games. Suddenly, because of decisions made 5,000 miles away, everyone on the internet hates you. You can’t even do your job—tweeting!—without being exposed to non-stop vitriol because of the horrible things your company has done. It’s gotta be emotionally exhausting, if not straight-up psychologically damaging.

I was watching a YouTube video about old video games and a throwaway line was "Back when Konami was good" so I thought of tif and chuckled.

If I want to get a hockey fix, with updated rosters and better-done/more offline game modes, NHL 16 would be worth it to acquire, right?

I had it for two weeks, and really tried to get into it. Love the old Be A GM modes, this one has no immersion. Online was a boring slugfest. Be a Pro is still plagued by sim issues and takes way too long. It is not a good game. Will not hold your attention for more than a day.

I've been playing Destiny almost every day since January. I don't really think I've done anything new in that game since Taken King came out, but I enjoy the hell out of playing it. I think it would take a truly trash product to not hold my attention. I use NHL video games as a way to escape from the bullshit in the real league.

Should also mentioned that I played it at a friend's house on PS4 and enjoyed the gameplay. I also really don't plan on playing much online.

What are the BAP sim issues?

I just remembered it taking a looooong time (meaning the loading between shifts) and the stats being borked, which has always been a problem.

If you can get it for cheap ($20 or something) and need a hockey fix, go nuts, but its genuinely a bad game IMO.

NHL 16 is better than NHL 15 was on PS4/Xbox One, but that isn't saying much. 15 was one of the worst games ever. I guess it's playable, but it's certainly not very good. I started a season when I picked it up cheap a few weeks after it launched... did some be a pro.. and haven't picked it up in a good month plus, have no desire to go back to it. It was just... meh.

What sucks even more is it is the one game I bought digital so I can't even trade it in towards something else. I learned my lesson.

I have enjoyed NHL 16. There are annoyances, of course, but that's nothing new. I only play online, and VS is much better than it was in 15. EASHL is lots of fun as well (obviously also much better than 15).

 Pretty much

I know the social media peeps at KDE-US, and they have had a really tough go of it the last 2-3 years. It's been really bad since the whole Kojima thing blew up, but even before that they seemed to get shat upon more than SM people at other publishers.

The one manager has been with KDE forever. She started with them when the company's US 'office' was in Honolulu. Moved to the mainland with them to San Francisco, then three separate offices in LA.

After seeing some gifs from Just Cause 3, I might pick that up after I'm done with Fallout.

Just Cause 3 does look like fun. Still have to pick up Fallout 4. Hoping it would go on sale before christmas but I guess not. Still have to finish AC: Syndicate as well. Just not enough time to play these days.

NBA 2K16 I think is still the best Be A GM and Be A Pro mode running.

I had some nostalgia urges after seeing TFA. Dusted off the N64, unraveled the controller, and blew out my Shadows of the Empire cartridge. I missed this game.

Funny, TFA didn't give me any urge to play Battlefront.

Nothing I've heard about Battlefront really intrigues me. I think it's cause its online only. I prefer single player games.

That and I have a burning hatred for EA.

You can play single player in Battlefront (my brother bought it and I started playing yesterday because I needed a break from Destiny), but it's pretty bare-bones. Tutorial missions, missions (basically team deathmatch), and survival modes.

I really enjoy the Space Battle or whatever it's called. The air to air combat is really enjoyable (probably because I'm actually decent at it compared to the ground-based game modes).
