Amazon has released a tease of its list of "Prime Day" deals, a one-day online sales event with "Black Friday"-style discounts exclusively for members of its $99 per year Prime program. The sale kicks off Wednesday, July 15 at 3 a.m. ET.

If you have prime, make sure you log in and listen to a song on prime music so you get in for a chance at amazon gift cards.

The one standout deal there to me is a 32" Smart TV under $200. We are looking for a bedroom TV (we currently have a 27" tube tv in there)

Why would it be? It's called "PRIME" day.

The tease list is pretty underwhelming. I'm hoping for a XBone or PS4 deal that will force my hand.

We made that same switch, and it was great.

Amazon FireStick TV. My buddy swears by it and has hooked up several friends who are cutting the cord.

Wal_Mart is countering with their own bash.

Ipad Mini 2 for something like $275.

Both have really inexpensive TV deals.

Not finding anything great. Had I waited a week to buy my SSD I would've saved...$5. *yawn*

They should have done this on a date that is a prime number to appease the nerds.

Yeah. I questioned for a minute why they didn't do 7/17.

Best deals seem to be on the Kindle hardware. $49 for the lowest Paperwhite, $79 for the 8GB Fire.

I wonder how many new Prime memberships they've gotten. I'd be butthurt if I signed up before looking at the stuff. The site isn't very well done either, having a hard time searching for deals. Anytime I search it pulls results from everything instead of just the PD stuff.

Yikes, what a disappointment.

For those of you who see something you like, but it isn't worth the $99 cover charge you can sign up for a free 30 day trial of prime

Edit: nvm, blackjack beat me to the free trial thing (on phone)
