Wilco is touring with Sleater-Kinney this summer!
Asheville show is $50 per seat (well, GA), much more reasonable than the other concert I looked into.

Two lowers in Philly for $440 for me. Straight back from stage. Literally could’ve had first row on the side of the stage for $740. Just couldn’t do it.Very jealous, I couldn't pull the trigger on those prices. Still a small chance I get rocked and buy tix for MSG, but damn is all the seats priceyIt’s been a long time since I’ve been to an arena concert, and I guess I shouldn’t be surprised by this, but 2 upper deck tickets for Genesis in Charlotte came out to $520 plus fees.
What’s the secondary ticket market looking like these days? Will those prices drop at all before November?

Way to put Hershey on same day as Billy Strings in Pittsburgh. I'm too old to do Hershey one night and drive to Pittsburgh next for Billy and Billy gets priority for me. That's what they get for not coming to Pittsburgh.

$200 was my limit for lowers and I just couldn't do the few extra. I'm working on corporate box invitations now. 2nd Philly show on sale Friday. I had a Wells Fargo link for presale as I’m on their mailing list as a former Wings lacrosse season ticket holder.

SiriusXM has added a new "Y'allternative" channel for Alternative Country. Outlaw Country is already one of my favorites on SiriusXM, and there is much goodness on that new channel. I've already bought music from several artists that I've run across.
One of the greatest musical revelations of my life was that not all country music sucks. I still don't like the "pop country" dreck that gets all of the radio airplay, but there is a whole wide world of outlaw country, alt country, Americana, cowpunk, etc. music out there, and much of its is amazing.

She is very talented, but I just cannot get past the "indie girl" voice. It ruins a lot of this genre for me.

I don't consider that the "indie girl" voice. She's just more southern sounding. Indie voice for me is CocoRosie.

By the way, the only person that gets away with the indie voice is Joanna Newsom. She can do no wrong.

Not sure if anyone caught these this weekend, but all three shows were incredible. Can't believe how good this band sounded with such short practice time.

I don't think I've ever heard a new Kenny Chesney song that didn't deal with living in the past. Dude is mid-life crisis material, that's all he ever sings about.

I know it's one of those stereotype songs you are talking about, but I do like Back Where I Come From a lot.

That's right around where I stopped listening to him. Right as I was leaving school, I liked that talk about highschool and college. I heard a song today and it was the same damn thing though. Just a different turn, like guy - think of something else.I really like his 90s and early 2000s stuff.I don't think I've ever heard a new Kenny Chesney song that didn't deal with living in the past.
