Seems Raw was a total **** show last night. 2 surprise roll-ups, 2 distractions, 2 dqs. Someone suggested Simon Miller should just start a "clean finish" counter because it would be less work... They are at 21 dqs and 41 distractions for the year iirc.

Note that it wasn't a **** show just because of the finishes... apparently they rehashed a bunch of matches that all more or less ended the same as the previous time(s), among various other non-sensical things

Is that a newish phenomenon in WWE? It seems like they rehash the same matches repeatedly for weeks on end.

Also, the "RAW Tag Team Champions" were not on the show at all?

Rumor is there's another Covid outbreak so that might explain them not being on the show.

They used Mandy's fall at Wrestlemania as a point to move a story, but edited out her fall on Wrestlmania replays lol. They pooped on their own continuation by using the embarrassing moment they don't want you to remember.

Charlotte Flair suspended and fined $100,000...

Or she’s pregnant.

I don't know about pregnant. They'd use it in a story line like they've done every other wrestler who got pregnant lol.

That's kayfabe though. She won't be out long and this is just part of her new unhinged character. Also every time Charlotte returns from an injury, she looks like an entirely different person.

Is that a garbage bag packed in a box? Mickie is the only one from this recent release who has seemed really angry. The rest were gracious on their way out. I wonder what happened there.

The Piper Biography episode was absolutely fantastic. Unlike Austin’s story, I knew very little about Piper pre-WWE and his family life. Really solid watch.

I hope this makes people stop pretending like Warrior was some humanitarian deserving of an award named after him.

I agree with this, but I also hate how HHH/Steph hijacked the one rare good idea from him and made it into something completely unrelated. The Warrior Award was supposed to be for those who were behind the scenes.

Had it been called the Jimmy Miranda Award, we would also not have to worry about his name being attached to it.
The award was created following the Ultimate Warrior's death. During his April 2014 Hall of Fame speech shortly before his death, he proposed that there be a special category called the "Jimmy Miranda Award" for WWE's behind-the-scenes employees.[21][22] Miranda, who died in 2002, was part of the WWE merchandise department for more than 20 years.[23] Former WWE ring announcer Justin Roberts expressed disappointment at how WWE used portions of Warrior's Hall of Fame speech to promote the award, but left out Warrior's intentions of honoring WWE's off-screen employees.[24][25] WWE responded, "It is offensive to suggest that WWE and its executives had anything but altruistic intentions in honoring Connor and his legacy with The Warrior Award", adding that "moving forward the award will be given annually to acknowledge other unsung heroes among WWE's employees and fans".[26] Since 2019 all recipients have been WWE employees.[27]

Yeah I agree on that too. It seems like WWE were much closer to the original intention of the award with the 2020 & 2021 HOF.

But seriously, Warrior was a horrible person. He was a racist, homophobic piece of ****. I saw him speak at a college tour around 2005. He wasn't shy about spreading his hate. If only camera phones/YouTube were more prevalent maybe WWE wouldn't have been able to portray him as some sort of hero.

Oh, no doubt he was and still would be if he were still around. There's enough quotes out there from him that should have buried him from any sort of HOF induction. I still don't understand how they looked past it, especially when a few of those quotes made the news. Since I'm posting from the office, I'm not going to even attempt to look up what he said. Besides, nothing good would come from quoting it even if specific words were removed.

As a wrestler, I guess I understand how he's in the HOF. You can't tell the story of the late 80s/early 90s WWF without him. But for as much as WWE preaches about character and being role models, they really turned their head on this one.

Watched A&E's Macho Man biography. Like the Piper one, it was also very good. I gotta say though, it was very weird to see Bubba the Love Sponge and Hulk Hogan on the same show.
