Is that including the what felt like 30 minutes of intros? Even without those it was wayyyyyy too long.
Pro Wrasslin' Thread
I don’t think that includes entrances. Pretty sure bell to bell it was just about 50 minutes, which is insane.

Not sure what this supposed to do exactly... Punk doesn't work there anymore, this isn't building any angle... just airing dirty laundry on your tv show.
Pro Wrasslin' Thread
That comes off as desperate for ratings. On the other hand, Punk is taking subtle shots at AEW during his panel time which is coming off as salty af. I don’t care about any of it. I’d rather neither company take shots at the other. As a fan I don’t know why I’m supposed to give a **** about their dumb beef.

I dont think it has anything to do with ratings tbh... I just think it is pure, unadulterated butthurt. Tony has a short fuse with this kind of stuff. Seems really petty, but of course Punk isnt likely to STFU about it any time soon either... both have paper thin skin.

That was unexpectedly solid.

Better match than most of night 1.

You’re right. The people that would care to see it are already watching week to week. It appeals to the hardcore fans. Casuals don’t give a **** and it won’t pop a number.I dont think it has anything to do with ratings tbh... I just think it is pure, unadulterated butthurt. Well that was a cool moment.

It’s weird to air a commercial for a shoot documentary during the worked event. Kayfabe is dead.

Hasn’t kayfabe been dead for a really long time at this point?

Yeah but generally you don’t see commercials during the show featuring people out of character talking about how everything is fake and they had to re-write it.
On TV Rock is full on final boss and making Corey bleed so to see him as board member Dwayne in glasses talking about rewriting Mania during Mania is really weird.

This is really not good. They are trying to do brutal spots but it all looks bad.

Four people on commentary is too many people especially when two of those are Snoop and McAfee

They’ve been much looser since Vince was banished. That’s a good thing for sure but McAfee tends to be a little too loose. Not having Vince screaming in their ears has definitely brought out their personalities more (especially Cole) but sometimes they forget their job is to put over the action in the ring, not try to pop each other. The commentary was bad last night too.

I like Mcafee in small doses. 4 hours is too much. Cole seemed fine last night for the most part. They’ve been much looser since Vince was banished. Crowd seems livelier tonight.

You’d think after so man stadium shows, WWE would know to not light the fans. They can never see and end up chanting to turn the lights off. Happens every year.

Not a bad match but kind of an abrupt finish.
