I certainly won't be dropping $50 for the average ppv, but this one was bound to be special, and it was, so I don't mind TOO much. I don't blame anyone for streaming though cuz that's not exactly cheap.

Also I basically watched 5 hours straight of wrestling and wasn't bored at all....nothing dragged. That's how I know it was good.

Punk, Cole, and Bryan entering AEW is giving me Hall/Nash vibes. I HAVE to tune in every week to see what’s next. I’ve already been doing that with AEW, but **** just got serious.

By the way the rise of the Valkyrie remix was fire.
No judgement at all on dropping $50 for the show. It was certainly worth it. I just can’t justify it for myself right now. I hope they lower the price point to $30 at some point. That’s certainly a much easier to swallow number. Did you guys watch via Fite? How was it?

I ordered it through Verizon FiOS ...it was available through cable/satellite providers like old ppv's were. I didn't want to chance ordering through a website and having it crash etc.

I just bought via the listing on the guide on my tv (Comcast). If I was spending the $, I was certainly watching it in the best possible quality. Cool that there is that streaming option though.By the way the rise of the Valkyrie remix was fire.

Speaking of streaming, I am much happier knowing that I can stream Dynamite via TNT's website w/ my cable subscription. I have watched Rampage live each night on tv so far, but that is only an hour, and it is on Friday night. I usually have other crap to do on Wednesdays so I dont always get to just sit down and watch the whole show, but if I can stream it, I can at least listen and watch when something good is going on.

Wait are you saying you can watch Dynamite on demand on TNT’s site or just live?

You can watch it live (w/ a cable provider login). Not sure if you can watch on demand. I just found out this past week so havent really dug around.

I checked TNT’s site. It looks like they have the last few episodes of Dynamite available, but they "expire" after awhile, so it's not really on demand per se... But you can catch episodes you miss.

Tony Khan looks like a kid on Christmas during all of these videos...also Punk saying how they handled the Brodie Lee situation was the "switch" that finally made him really consider coming back. Bryan looks happy as hell, dropping F bombs and basically is like I know I'm great, I came here to kick their heads off ha. He also seems to really respect his time in WWE.
Also it's cool that they do these in general.

supposedly Vince is trying to bring back Taker before the Crown Jewel trip.

I bet that’s a Saudi request and has nothing to do with AEW. I don’t think Vince gives a **** about AEW because they’re not hurting the bottom line. WWE is almost too big to fail at this point and nothing will change creatively until the Fox and NBC Universal money dries up.

oh I'm sure it is (request by the saudis) and has nothing to do with AEW. The yay was my lack of enthusiasm to the announcement.
I mean what is he going to bring at this point? Is it basically so people get to see the Undertaker Entrance? I know he has said although he's retired, "if Vince picks up the phone and asks me to show up, I'm there" (obviously paraphrasing here).
I'm trying to remember if his last appearance in Saudi was the Taker/Goldberg mess or if he did something else afterwards.

His last match was the Boneyard match with AJ Styles at Covidmania. The horrible Goldberg match was before that. I kind of think there was a tag match and another Saudi match in between but I stopped watching the Saudi shows after that atrocious match with Goldberg. I remember him and AJ having a "match" prior to Mania. That might've been Saudi.
I have no desire to see Undertaker ever again.

Oh I looked it up, he made an appearance at the 2020 Super Showdown as part of the gauntlet match. He pinned AJ in 20 seconds.I wouldn't be surprised if he did something similar for the next one. No way he can have a legit match these days.

I completely forgot The Patriot used Kurt Angle's entrance music as far back as 1996-97 (comes in around 7:30).

Man I love 97 Stone Cold.
Also reused themes are interesting. Like Lawler's theme is just WWE's "King" theme. Harley Race, Haku, and even Duggan used it before Lawler when they were king.
This might be the best though:

Yeah, Stone Cold was so damn good around 96-97. Promos were all straight fire.

@shafnutz05 Earl Hebner and Duke The Dumpster Droese are gonna be out your way next weekend. I had no idea that Droese was still wrestling. I seem to remember him going to jail a few years ago for something drug related, although I may be confusing him for someone else.
Anyways, I almost snagged tickets from VetTix just to have something to do that night, but then I realized that's about a 5 hr trek for me. Weird, considering my search is set for only 35 miles. I'm not driving 5 hrs to see Duke The Dumpster.

does WWE not have a spreadsheet of expiring contracts?
Pro Wrasslin' Thread
So his contract is up January 2022. That’s good. These debuts need time to breathe. Adam Cole got literally 45 seconds.
