What's your favorite bagel and what toppings do you like on yours?

Mine is everything bagel, egg sandwich style. Although a close second would be cream cheese and lox.

1. Blueberry + butter
2. Cinnamon raisin + butter or peanut butter
3. Egg bagel + butter

I consider a bagel with eggs and bacon or sausage or whatever an entirely different breakfast. This is a bagel-centric breakfast...

Toasted or untoasted?

I used to like Sesame best, but then it was giving me an acid-reflux type reaction some of the time. So now, I mainly have plain, untoasted with butter. Or plain, toasted with peanut butter.

But my favorite, stomach issues aside, is sesame with my homemade chicken salad on it.

Lakeside Bagel Deli in Edinboro makes a killer jalapeno bagel. I get it with salami, ham, pepper jack cheese, tomato, banana peppers and italian dressing.

I eat maybe one bagel a year. I like a plain bagel, toasted, with some butter and cinnamon.

plain and butter

I would prefer wheat for health reasons but some places have really bad tasting wheat bagels.

Everything + Cream cheese and lox

I can't stand Lox. Something must have passed me in the gene pool.

My favorite bagel is blueberry with either butter or cream cheese. My favorite topping is peanut butter, but I would only use it on on a blueberry bagel or other flavored bagels. It annoys me how often peanut butter is not provided as an option when bagels are given out during conferences or work functions.

Peanut butter on a bagel just reminds me of a pre hockey snack...and it was always inhaled. It doesnt appeal to me anymore.

I am currently eating a bagel that has been treated to a strawberry smear on one side, and a honey and almond smear on the other. Mmmmmm.

I voted for sesame w/butter. But I also like Everything with veggie cream cheese. Or dark rye and cream cheese.

Never tried it, but just thought about it...how come there is no evidence of a guac on bagels trend yet...?

Out of curiosity I googled guacamole and bagel. This came up.

No Asiago bagel love?
Occasionally I'll hit the Brueggers by the office to grab one and they're usually out. I end up having to opt for the six cheese. While good, it's a distant second place to Asiago.

Garlic bagel. Smoked salmon, cream cheese, tomato, red onion, capers...

...and a breath mint.
