That's the importance of having length to your lineup. Different guys can hit different days and you can win different ways

I have growing concerns that Davis can't hit at this level. At least not yet. If he's still struggling when Delay gets off IL, I wouldn't be opposed to rolling with Bart and Delay while Davis goes to AAA to figure out how to hit.

Davis has a minor league ops over 1.000. He only has a handful of AAA at bats but let’s face it aaa pitching is trash. He either can hit big league dudes or he cant.

Imo he’s reaching the point where he gets Kenny Pickett treatment. We want you to succeed but aren’t going to wait around forever to see if you figure it out

I think I let him get more than 48 AAA ABs before I write off giving him another stint in AAA.

Let's pump the brakes here. He has 63 AAA plate appearances and 292 MLB ones. He's also learning how to catch. Let's maybe give him a little longer than April **** 9th to write him off lol

Let's not forget that Bednar was hurt in the spring, so not sure why they keep running him out there. It's pretty obvious that somethin' ain't right.

This just reminded me that he wasn’t available the first couple days of the season due to a lat injury yet still was on the active roster.

They probably just want to let him get up to speed since he hasn't pitched in a bit although I guess they could have done a rehab assignment instead of an option

Jones versus Suarez tonight actually gets me excited. How often do you say that about a pirate game and the starting pitchering matchup?
