Aiyuk.I don't want to click Twitter who is it? Deebo?
Pretty much. I think I saw earlier that he has 9 KO return TDs.Kick returner? I can see him getting too many offensive snaps above Harris and Warren
I think there are a couple of plug and play centers (jpj and Frazier).Anyone else concerned about the Center situation? Looking around, they have to draft a C in the 1st or 2nd round, don't they? The free agents all look very meh (except Connor Williams, who tore his ACL late last year), and we've currently got, who, Herbig? on the roster.
Problem with drafting one is...how many plug and play rookie Cs have there been? I'd imagine it's quite the jump from college to NFL, and having to call out protections and whatnot can't be something that's 'easy'. I was all for JPJ in the first round if they could get him, but man that's putting a lot of chips into a rookie that you'd be asking to perform immediately.
Not complaining, as I don't really know what other options they had, but as we've watched them fill holes the last 2 years this one seems tougher.
I think there's been a general lack of accountability and leadership on the offensive side of the ball for several years, even back to the last of the Ben days. Contract situations definitely get the players' attention, but so does cleaning out your entire QB room and trading your 1B WR. I'd imagine that side of the ball will have a different energy this year. More Jaylen-type than Najee-type...which is nothing but good IMO.So he loafed around fat and happy for the first three years and now that it's contract time he's ready to try? Cool.
He wasn’t a RB until he went to ATL. They then transitioned him from WR to RB and he excelled in a hybrid role. That was a couple years ago though, not sure how much he has in the tank.Kick returner? I can see him getting too many offensive snaps above Harris and Warren
I would trade to somehow find a center with the cap space available and then go OT and WR in the first two roundsI think there are a couple of plug and play centers (jpj and Frazier).Anyone else concerned about the Center situation? They will obviously get either one of them, or sign/trade for a new one.
The draft is a little funky for what the Steelers want to do there. I think there are like 6 tackles that would be plug and play RTs that they would take should they fall to 20. But if say Mims is the only big tackle left, they might look to trade down from that spot, get an extra pick and then draft the center.
I think a cornerstone tackle is the most valuable asset potentially at 20. The WR will be at their pick in the 50’s, and then probably a slot corner with one of the 3rd round picks. But I think if a tackle falls to 20, or they just want mims, then they probably trade up in the second to get Frazier.
They have some competition there. You convince Kelce to play, duh.
BOO!
