2001, 2004, and arguably 2016 are Owls if not for the Pats

Wow, all this historical discussion and no one mentioned that Tomlin's Super Bowl win was with Cowher's team? I guess it's just an assumed fact that doesn't need to be emphasized.

That would be a nice little new factoid to discuss that no one's ever brought up before

One of my favorite sporting event memories was walking back to the car after a pirate game and overhearing two yinzers making the cowhers players argument while sitting outside soho.

I'm surprised the Steelers are favored here. Are they really getting minkah and roberts? back? That would feel much better because the Ravens defense is going to cause a lot of trouble. I think the Steelers D needs 2 turnovers to have a chance.

The Ravens give up 5.7 ypc on the ground. With the cold and rain, this should be a good day for Harris and Warren. Especially if Rudolph can complete a couple of passes over the middle when the Ravens inevitably stack the box.

Huntley will pass for 3 hundo, a couple tuds and at least 50 on the ground. Steelers will turn the ball over like it’s diseased and the season will end tonight. It’s the Tomlin Steeler’s way

Yeah Steelers are favored because they have everything to play for while the Ravens are set in 1st and have a lot of starters sitting. It’d be pretty sad if the Ravens were still favored.

:thumb: I was wondering if the ravens were bad vs the run. gotta hold onto the ball. they lead the league in sacks so i expect a focus on the run. but the ravens will expect that too so some effective early throws are needed.

i know they're sitting talent but it kinda evens out if the steelers D doesn't get a bunch of guys back. i guess the homefield advantage can be canceled out with jackson sitting. it's an objective advantage but as others mentioned the steelers do pretty well against him in the past and i could see him turning the ball over. maybe it's the past 3+ years influencing me but I can't picture a win here. need some voodoo. I would love to see Mason lead them into the playoffs. he's earned it.

it may be some kind of awareness bias but I feel like anytime a team is in this situation where the better team is sitting guys because they have nothing to play for it never works out for the team that needs the win. especially against a huge rival in their home.

i'd rather their starters play this game that doesn't matter. since the backups will definitely be playing for something.

Ton of confidence in their franchise QB who is benched in the most important game of the season.

The white blurs seems to be moving the ball fairly well against the purple blurs so far.
