Unlike early in the season, it was hard to find a story about that game, which eliminated Prime from bowl contention , this morning.

That Stanford collapse wasn’t just that game, it was the whole season.

Does this hurt Deion's AP Coach of the Year chances?

Made the mistake of going to a Michigan blog to gauge fan sentiment. JFC. I'd rather deal with a hardcore Nitter.

Deion looked absolutely miserable last night. That dude 100% thought he was going to show up, set the world on fire, and be brandished gods gift to college football coaching and is quickly learning that all the name power, brand power, and NIL money in the world might not be enough, meaning he needs to actually learn how to coach and is staring down failure in this sport for the first time in his life. It's enjoyable to watch.

I agree but all that said I don't count him out for the future. I'd be a little surprised if he doesn't at least have a look at the A&M job.

Colorado, with a history of a 30 year old shared natty and not much else, playing games most of the country either misses or falls asleep at halftime, in a climate players from Florida, Texas and Cali probably don't really want much to do with... might have been a mistake for him. Now he's going to a conference whose best teams will be what, Okie State, WVU and K-State? Undefeated team in that conference without UT and OU is iffy for the CFP IMO.

With his total collapse does A&M even have a look at him though? They can't afford another Jimbo, and all Prime did was prove himself at a 1-AA HBCU where his name got 1A quality players to come in and win big over teams without that advantage.

There are a lot of people out there who got suckered by what they saw in Colorado's first 3 games and now deem this season a failure. You're able to hide your warts in the first game of the season when no one has you on tape and has no idea how to attack your weak spots, since they don't know them. If you step back and take the last 7 games and look at the first 3 games thru that lens, you could say that Colorado was lucky to get 2 wins in their pocket. The defense is horrific, the offensive line has gotten worse as the season went along and thus knocking out Shedeur last night, and their depth is virtually non-existent. Plus, Deion is not a very good gameday coach and his switching of OC duties from Lewis to Shurmur is curious at best. So while he made a big splash early and got everyone talking about CU football, Deion's got a LONGGGGGG way to go before making that team viable.

Also, as far as the CFP goes, once it goes to 12 next year, a conference champion will have an automatic bid so even though Big 12 loses OU & Texas, there's still a road to a national championship from there.

I'm a Grove City grad (annoyed with how Trumpy it's become and definitely not a rah rah alum but whatever) but the football team made the playoffs for the first time ever this year, and won their first ever playoff game today, 21-20 over Susquehanna. Neat.

Yeah, it was brutal. Meanwhile his team is down 13-3 to 3-7 1-AA North Alabama. They'll probably win 45-13 or something but North Alabama has legit brought it so far.

Edit: Yeah this turned quickly.

Nebraska sends the mid bowl vs Wisconsin to OT. Winner gets bowl eligible, loser needs another mid bowl win next week vs Iowa or Minnesota.

I can't wait to drink Buckeye tears this weekend. The dude's job was to know the other team's signs, which most programs have. So his actions on the sidelines in that video really isn't unique. An Tosu coach before the 2022 game admitted that Michigan had figured out their signs; so they got waxed because they either decided not to change their signals for some reason or because they were simply taken behind the woodshed.
UofM got signs in a questionable (most likely illegal) manner, but literally every team gets signs for their opponents, and some even hand them out to other programs using electronic means. The LB coach deleting computer info is honestly the worst offense in the whole melodrama.
I find it impossible that these >100 million dollar programs didn't think they should should be rotating through signals or changing up triggers before now, knowing that their own teams attempted to steal signs.

That Stalions bought tickets to other games, and that his friends used those tickets doesn't appear to be a violation. That they recorded the sidelines isn't a violation. If (which I assume they did) they gave those videos to Stalions it would run afoul of the electronic means section of the sign stealing rule. But if you use the TV coverage, your camera phone to take pictures of a video on the scoreboard, or email a PDF to other teams, you have also used electronic means to obtain the signs of a team.
Honestly, the biggest problem is the NCAA is looking to enforce a rule about electronic devices that was written at the dawn of the digital camera era. It's such an antiquated and ridiculous method to call plays when the NFL has had green dots for decades.

My son's 10yo flag football team had arm bands and play calls that were shape/number (ie Triangle 2). By the second week of getting scores run up on them, opposing coaches started taking notes and passing them to each other and the team had to develop dummy calls. Parks & Rec 5th graders knew it and addressed before Ryan Day?

Duquesne/YSU in the first round of the 1-AA errr FCS playoffs on Saturday. I've been watching YSU football for no real reason other than proximity for 30+ years now, but my nephew goes to Duquesne. Think YSU wins this battle of 7-4 teams handily at home.

I remember the days of making the 1-AA playoffs. Hard to believe that it's 10 years since I got to go to Frisco.

As a fellow PAC alum (W&J), I say congratulations and this was good to see. I'd love to see them win one more and then get a shot at Mount Union.

Yeah, we’ll see. I think they had single digit wins, total while I was there so it’s good to see. This year was maybe only the 5th time they beat W&J, or something like that. PAC was pretty good this year with CMU doing well also.
