I must be a little more old school because ICE-T is my man.

Best part of this is that his music got me yelled at the most in high school, and now my mom's all like, "Oh I just love that ICE-T you used to listed to in High School on that SVU show."
He is so bad on that show. Acting used to be good if not unspectacular on Law & Order shows but that SVU is just horrible.

I did the obligatory "**** Cancer" post on another forum about someone else a while back. A guy from Hong Kong got really shitty about it, said it was disrespectful and flippant.

RIP Hester Ford, oldest living American, dies at 116 years old
Ford was born in Lancaster, South Carolina.

She grew up working on a farm where she not only planted and picked cotton, but plowed the field and cut wood.

She was married to John Ford, a steelworker, at the age of 15 and they later moved to Charlotte in 1953. She was married to John for 45 years when he died in 1963.

Ford worked for more than 20 years as a nanny for two families in Myers Park and has been living in the same house in the Dalebrook neighborhood of Charlotte for more than 59 years.

She is a longtime member of Macedonia Baptist Church where prior to the coronavirus pandemic, she attended each first Sunday of every month for communion.

Ford has lived through two global pandemics, the 1918 influenza pandemic and currently the COVID-19 pandemic.

As the matriarch of a large family, Ford has 12 children, 48 grandchildren, 108 great-grandchildren and approximately 120 great-great-grandchildren.

Bless her.

Her husband died at 57 the year JFK was assassinated. Lived alone until she was 108.

Evidently, he's been sick and had been saying goodbye to friends and family late last week. He even sent out an email to his staff this weekend thanking them and saying he was heading out to see his (deceased) wife and daughter. Man.

RIP Jim Steinman, responsible for Meat Loaf's Bat Out of Hell album, among others. His compositions are immediately recognizable as his work. Love him or hate him, he was one of a kind.

he was a classmate and friend of Tony Kornheiser, I think, so anyone who listens to the TK Show should be aware of him

I just recently read an article about how Mutt Lange wasn’t available when Def Leppard was headed into the studio for Hysteria. Some recommended Steinman and they brought him in.

Said he was such a wacky disaster, they paid him out and fired him. By that time, Lange was available and Hyateria went on to become the band’s biggest seller.

reports on twitter are saying that Shock G from Digital Underground has died at the age of 57.

He was the one that had a nose that was big like a pickle.
