I am super excited to see Jurkovec in action. Should have always been a Pitt guy.

A lot of the line, D-line, WRs, TEs, Hammond at RB - Stoosh will probably put this more elegantly, but they have a lot of depth that played and acquitted themselves well that will now be starters and I think they'll be fine in this system. The schedule is weak enough that if Jurkovec is good, they're talented enough all over imo to win 10 games again.

Potential holes left that actually worry me - Wayne left at WR and I'm not as confident in the depth there without a big transfer coming in. Really need strides from Mumpfield and Means. Secondary - I trust Duzz with DBs, but they lost some good pieces and the replacements aren't as proven as the depth I've seen at DL and OL that I feel good about. And finally LB - the starting group is fine imo but have not seen any of the depth pieces yet so remains to be seen how they can hold up in rotation and in case of injury. QB still the key to this season either way

5 Pat Signals this morning. 8 recruits were visiting this weekend and there were some very legit prospects there. Exciting stuff. A couple unannounced commits from last weekend too still out there I think

This was Chasen Johnson, a 3-star corner from Florida. He just committed to UCF the other day. It sounds like this was expected, to some degree. He apparently got caught up in the blitz of commitments that were announced during that visit and wanted to be a part of it, then re-thought everything when he got back to Florida.

Pitt is actually putting together a really good class. They have 19 commits, including three that Rivals has ranked as 4-star players. Rivals has them ranked 14th overall right now, but they have three unannounced commitments and all three are believed to be 4-star players. One is expected to be 4-star DE Sincere Edwards, who just decommitted from UCF right before taking his Pitt visit this weekend (touche, jerks). The others are believed to be safety Koy Beasley from Cincinnati and RB Yasin Willis. Beasley is announcing his decision on Wednesday. Willis hasn't given a commitment date yet.

From the June visits, it sounds like they are very much in the mix for the following:
QB Trever Jackson, believed to be their top target at QB in this class.
4-star Zy'Marion Lang, who just visited this past weekend. Really impressive kid...shades of Jordan Addison.
4-star WR Nick Marsh, who is down to the Super Panthers, Michigan State, and UPS. Not the burner that Lang is, but he's a big dude who does a really nice job adjusting to throws in traffic.
4-star DE Dominic Kirks, who has the Super Panthers with Wisky, Washington, Kentucky, and Nebraska
4-star DE Elias Rudolph, who is down to the Super Panthers, Michigan, and Miami. Believed to be leaning towards Michigan.

I try not to get too excited about this because it's still early and NIL can play such a factor anymore but if they can keep this class together as it is, I'd be thrilled. This is already shaping up to be Narduzzi's best class. If they add Beasley, Willis, and Edwards as expected and then also land Jackson & Lang from the list above, this could be the most talented and deepest class they've landed in 25 years.

Just watched CB97HCPN at acc media day w the accident network crew. One interesting thing he said: expect to see at least two freshman wide receivers getting some playing time. Would be nice to see young guys getting action

Is it because they're good or because they failed in bringing in anyone through the portal?

When asked about the defensive ends, narddog mentioned Nate temple first. Not sure if that is a head coach giving love to a senior or if that means temple might be good. Did not mention Elliot Donald at all.

UVA’s starting qb is from Monmouth or something

They were hyping up fsu (shocker) and Jordan Travis. Also hyping up duke’s qb, who might have been the most stereotypical duke athlete ever.

Packer is high on Pitt. Kelsey Riggs still looking quite fine.

On a more serious note, mark richt seemed pretty healthy.
