so after I got permabanned, I made a twitter account because I remember FC44 saying something about adding him a while back. I sent him a tweet (or whatever you do with twitter) and look the next day and see he blocked my account.

Most likely a collective meh. What really makes a new board successful is quality and how popular the subject is. While LGP certainly has it's flaws it also has guys like Netwolf providing great content. Also love him or hate him Mikey provides an interesting look at a lot of players and some behind the scenes stuff. If this place is ever going to be successful beyond an escape from LGP it's going to need quality behind it... I'm rambling a bit but it's from experience. When online poker was huge a group including myself split from an internet community for much the same reasons. Our community had great posters and knowledge and for a little it thrived. But then the poker crash (made illegal) happened along with the forum adding nothing more than a place to hang and it fell off majorly and eventually folded. I wouldn't like to see that happen here. Maybe reaching out to someone like The Pens Blog and seeing if they would have interest in an "official message board" or something would be a good step. It's your thing though so I could be way off base.There should be a poll for expected LGP response to this new forum
