Walker definitely was tracking towards bust iirc and sort of turned it all around at the MLB level. Which is like opposite of any normal pirates prospects

If you may recall, he was playing at third in the minors after washing out at catcher. The vibe was he was getting passed over becuase he wasn’t a GMNH draft pick AND GMNH drafted Pedro. Walker moved to second basically becuase there were no good players at second. I recall there being some thought his bat wasn’t good enough for third. But i feel like he hit better in the majors than in the minors, too.
