Koepka out of the CJ Cup & next week's Zozo Championship with a re-injury to the left knee that had stem cell treatment on it for a partially torn patella tendon. Might be out for the rest of the calendar year putting his Presidents Cup status in question.

Tiger finishing out #82 right now. This 8 hole primetime golf is pretty awesome

You figure Tiger went over there to get some rust off and do his sponsors a favor. And then he wins the damn thing.

I mean, it wasn't a scrub field over there. He just put together one of those vintage Tiger performances. For comparison, Jordan Spieth finished the weekend at 5 over, 24 shots behind him.

I will be very sad when he finally hangs them up.
It'll be a long time until somebody revolutionizes the game and how its perceived again. Being 5 years his junior, nearly my entire golfing life has been watching him, and I've enjoyed every minute of it.

Likely won't make it to the weekend. The guy had problems breaking 80 in Vegas and that course is not exactly Winged Foot.

Good news -- Smylie shot his best round on the PGA Tour since May of 2018 today with a 67.
Bad news -- He shot 76 yesterday and is missing yet another cut.

Sht I forgot to check. Poor Smylie. I really hope he turns it around because that has to be an awful feeling

If humans didn't have to actually sleep you could almost watch 48 straight hours of golf

I am all for jumping on the Smylie train, but is there any context to this or are we just pulling for him kind of like we cheer against (I think) DA Points?

Smylie seems like a good kid that has gone through an extreme case of the yips and I'm pulling for him to turn it around, that's all

At least Smylie has something really nice to go home to. Hopefully he's invested that Natty Light sponsorship money well.

Tiger picks Finau, Reed, Woodland and himself for the Presidents Cup. Describes himself in the third person. Too funny

Is Spieth still a notable omission even though he's not been great since his last major?

This is the first US international team event without Spieth on it since 2012. So yeah

Spieth's decline just goes to show both how unpredictable golf is and how difficult it is to maintain the level of greatness that Tiger did for as long as he did. Spieth was dominant in 2015, yet hasn't won since The Open in 2017. Prior to Spieth, McIlroy looked like he was destined for double digit majors, after he won his fourth (the 2014 Open) right after turning 25. Now to his credit, he had a pretty good year last year, but hasn't won a major since 2014.

Now you have Brooks Koepka...undoubtedly a late bloomer, but his last few years have just been incredible. It's crazy to think about how close he came to winning even more majors, especially this year (T2, 1, 2, T4). Even with the sheer dominance he has shown the last couple years (similar to Spieth in 2015), nothing is guaranteed.

Tiger in 3rd person was pretty dopey imo.

Don’t count out Fowler or Na yet. If Koepka (or DJ) can’t go, they will be next man up.
