I honestly don’t know what would need to be done for me to ever watch LIV. The PGA Tour could fold entirely and I don’t think I’d watch it. Something about 3 round tourneys, the team concept and playing music like some drunk guy at a muni doesn’t sound that intriguing

Team concept would only work if they did a scramble format IMo

Paige Spiranac topless is the only thing that could get me to watch LIV.

The majors and the Ryder Cup are the only ~meaningful events to me. And honestly the Ryder Cup feels less important now that there's the big split. I think that event in Wisconsin might be a bit of a peak for that.
Winning majors and chasing the greats feels like the only thing in golf with real gravity. but that's just through my eyes. LIV is definitely making the overall PGA tour less relevant. But that's not really a zero-sum thing, it doesn't make LIV relevant.

Once again, these guys should have paid attention in the late 90's when IndyCar split. The major (Indy 500) was still a big deal, but all the other events in both series became complete after thoughts.Troy Loney wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2024 8:50 pm The majors and the Ryder Cup are the only ~meaningful events to me. First tee time of the season booked for Saturday at Hickory Heights.
I've swung a club once since October... definitely going to be an interesting day

Our golf league started last week. I'm in the same situation, where I've swung clubs once since October.
Fully expecting nothing lower than a 50 this evening.

My golf game on Tuesday was yikes.
Took 8 holes to realize that I was teeing up too low and by that point it was too late to recover what was already a bad day. Driver was all over the place, irons were constantly 10-15 yards short, but the putter was amazing. Dropped two putts from 40+ ft and had another roll the lip from probably 30. May have been the best day ever with the putter, which only means I'll be missing two foot putts next week.
Did I break 50? Hell no. We just won't talk about how bad this round was.

48-45 for a 93. Pretty sure Hickory Heights hasn't mowed the rough in a week. Lost maybe 8 balls because we saw it come down but couldn't find it in the rough. Super frustrating.

The wind made the conditions challenging yesterday for me.
I usually do okay downwind by clubbing down and trusting the wind will give you the 10-15 extra yards. But misjudged long at least 5 times (upwind and downwind).
