I'm booked with some coworkers to play next week. Will be the first time playing in about 2 years. I suppose I should go to the driving range this weekend...

I am playing Lindenwood and Scenic Valley in a couple of weeks. Anyone played there before and can give a quick rundown of the courses?
Lindenwood is not challenging, I’ve never played scenic valley. I just remember for lw, there’s a short par 4 with a pretty absurd green where you really need to get pin high on the approach.

Scenic valley is short but there are some pretty tight holes and pretty demanding shots. The 18th hole is idiotic. Pace of play is always glacial. Lindenwood is easier than Scenic valley. Also a glacial pace. The moral of the story here is that South hills golf courses move at a glacial place.

lol thanks. My cousin lives in Upper St Clair and he's the one that got the tee times. Slow pace is fine for me. This is only me second and third times golfing.

So the real question is, where is the ball going to go after I hit it?

If the one time I've played and my time at the range are any indication, either 225 yards in front of me or 20 feet directly to my right or left. There really isn't any other outcome from what I've seen...

Koepka starts his round with a double and finishes tied for the lead. Disappointing outing for Rory and rough start for DJ.

Depending on how Koepka holds up, I really like Hovland this weekend too.

Whoever designed Koepka’s hats should be fired immediately

PHILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

Conners comes back to the field, and so does Grace after a brief stint by himself. What a back for Mickelson.

#17 seems to be a unnecessarily hard hole

It is absurdly difficult. This is a great read on it:

I wonder how many tee shots it'd take me to land on something other than water on 17

Mickelson's -5 in the clubhouse is now good for a two shot lead. Going to be fun watching Koepka, Hovland, Bradley, Watson, DeChambeau, etc. this afternoon. Great round from Poulter today too.

The wind is killer. Not just on shots in the air but putts too. Seems like people are misreading greens because the wind is pummeling the ball

Koepka looked like he was fading and promptly posted two eagles on his card. Oosty putting together a great round, we will see what happens once these guys hit 15-18

I threw $10 on Oost last night at 46:1. Got lucky that he’s doing as well as he is
