The Euro Tour produces some great stuff. I’m a big fan do the 14 club challenge and 1 club challenge videos.

Yeah, I've been enjoying them lately as well. I hate that they can drive better with a putter than I can with...any club.

the Euro Tour is so much better at everything (except level of golf which I guess counts for something) than the PGA Tour is

And while I understand why he might do that. He needs to understand that similar to people realizing he hated being called Brooksy, they're gonna find out he said no to this, and it's not going to make life easier for him

Bryson said the report of his declination was incorrect.

Not sure if I like them lengthening the 13th. That hole is perfect just the way it is.

Tough times for Rickie

A golfer attempting to qualify for this week's Wichita Open on the Korn Ferry Tour was arrested after allegedly attacking another player during a qualifier Monday.

According to police in Newton, Kansas, Luke Smith of Covington, Tennessee, punched the victim in the face and tackled him to the ground during the qualifier at Sand Creek Station golf course.

"He held the victim down until he said 'uncle,' and then released him," Newton Police said in a statement.

According to police, the argument started when the suspect and his father, who was serving as his caddie, refused to help the victim look for errant shots in the rough.

Nice reads

https://www.espn.com/golf/story/_/page/ ... pe-us-open

https://golf.com/news/u-s-open-expert-p ... rey-pines/

Thought we could do something fun with it being US Open week. Pick five golfers (any five). If more than one of your golfers misses the cut, you are out. Lowest score relative to par after the weekend with your remaining golfers wins. If all five of your golfers make the cut, you can take the four best scores from that group after Sunday.

Here are my guys:

Jon Rahm
Collin Morikawa
Patrick Reed
Tony Finau
Xander Schaffele

honestly I think green reading materials and rangefinders are corny. I genuinely have a lot of fun trying to deduce distance based on 200/150/100 yard markers and sprinkler heads

Seems more like an "I don't want to spend the money, so I'm going to invent a reason to justify that unwillingness to spend".

not gonna lie, that is a part of why I don't own one. But even when I'm golfing with others with a rangefinder I prefer they don't use it for my shots

Walking off distances? No wonder a round takes 6 **** hours.

I like knowing my distances. Carts with the GPS are preferable, but The Grint and other apps give decent yardage using phone GPS. Since I'm already keeping score on there, might as well take advantage.

Yup, that's what I was going to say. I use The Grint and it's a pretty nice way of doing distances and it was free.

I enjoyed this way more than I thought I would. That second shot from the French dude was the key

Nice shad I'll get my picks in later. For now:

Rory was spot on. I actually don't mind the range finders, but the green books are lame. And it's really annoying seeing Bryson act like he's reading War and Peace while taking two minutes to putt.
