Tomlin’s tone and defiance….I half expect them to announce a Canada contract extension this week.

Let’s not forget that this historically inept offense has been going on for 2 years now. This is not a 3 game sample size. Two years. In the NFL that’s an eternity.

Attendance is going to take a hit as the entertainment value plummets. Watching other offenses and wow, football is fun and exciting. Watch us and it’s like pulling teeth.

Joking obviously. Fans were chanting it last week and will continue to do so. Jets then Bills, Tampa, Dolphins, Eagles. Wouldn’t be ideal for bringing in a rookie QB but the faster the team gets on with the future the better.

With this QB and OC the offensive ceiling if all goes perfectly is what…21 points?

He could also try not dropping passes. Although I will admit the drive before the half, on the pass to Claypoop, Dionte was wide open right on the sideline and could have stopped the clock if Mitch saw him.

DJ complaining is getting old already considering he's dropped catches he's paid more to catch.

Secondly, he's probably upset that he doesn't have an HOF QB making it easy for him, so it's going to hurt his own financial numbers.

Also - Trubisky sucks, and this whole not throwing to the middle of the field, when there are guys open every game is tired. He's not good.

Lastly, I didn't support the Kenny chants in the first home game. Trubisky had his shot, but I hope that crowd is foaming at the mouth and chanting it repeatedly next game, if Tomlin is going to be this piss poor about it.

On the run to his right and you want him to throw back across his body left? Mitch obviously isn't the answer, but most of the critiques I've seen about missing wide open receivers are kind of lame. You can't take a snapshot and blame the QB for not seeing the guy at that exact moment without looking at the whole play and the QB's progression.

On the run to his right and you want him to throw back across his body left? Mitch obviously isn't the answer, but most of the critiques I've seen about missing wide open receivers are kind of lame. The whole play is that he rolled out to the right and threw the ball to his primary read without assessing the rest of the field. He is yards away from any pressure. Set your feet like a capable QB and that's a damn near straight on throw, not a throw back across his body.

He could still throw that ball on the run. Just loft that thing in the air anywhere within 5 yards of the receiver and it's a long gain.

Mitch has one problem. He’s a wimp. Leaves a perfect pocket because he is afraid. Throws from his back foot because he is afraid. Doesn’t throw to the middle because he is afraid. Dude is a coward

Funny that Tomlin never divulges any lineup information until the 11th hour. Wouldn’t announce Mitch the starter until right before game 1. Now he’s questioned about potentially making a QB change and right away, 10 days before our next game, he’s announcing that no change will be made.

I don’t even care if the change at QB is to start Rudolph. SOMETHING needs to change. The entire team is seemingly disgruntled already and it’s only week 3. They can all see the writing on the wall that an entire season is about to go down the drain due to a pop gun offense.

I'm actually interested to see how this locker room handles. For ages Tomlin has done well keeping stuff under wraps, but they were winning so the players were happy.

Three games in and there are already cracks.

I know one shouldn't compare NFL games to Sun Belt Conference games, but last night my employer's team was playing at the same time as the Steelers. I was getting scoring notifications, and there was a lot more offense in the college game. It's fun to watch big running plays and decent QB play.

Wasn't the story the last few years that the Steelers start slow and then Ben goes off book and starts calling the plays until they catch up and win in the 4th quarter?

Seems like that's still happening, but Mitch isn't allowed to (or can't) change the play so we're seeing 60 minutes of that putrid scheming.
