Watching that BBC SAS series, and the SAS's motto was "Who Dares...Wins." Brian Kelly dared...and won. Nice to see that work out, especially at Alabama's expense. A two loss Alabama team in regular season? Very interesting.

Fun day of CFB with the top teams being tested and two going down.

Except the one that was most hyped was a dog.

Assume TCU will sneak into the top 4 now, haven’t seen them except that KU game when both were undefeated. Anything to this team?

Polls schmolls but I wonder when both Alabama and Clemson were last both out of one of the major polls’ Top 10?

Coaches Poll has Bama 11 and Clemson 12. AP has Bama hanging at 10 and Clemson 12.

They featured the dude on the bottom half of that tweet pretty prominently in the TV broadcast. I hope he enjoyed his popcorn as much as I enjoyed last nights #MACtion. Some close games.

Man the 3:30 time slot should hopefully be clicker worthy on the Franchise TV. PSU/Terps, Mrs. F’s Cards (who she does not care one bit about) vs Clemson, Ole Miss/Bama, and that UCF/Tulane matchup could be under the radar good. Gonna make some :pop: and settle in.

Then that TCU/Texas game. See how the Frogs respond to most people believing they will get rolled by a 3 loss Horns squad.

I love CFB and the season’s running short, gotta take it all in!

Frank Gore's son, Frank Gore, Jr. plays for Southern Miss. Runs hard like his old man.

I appreciate coaches who are aggressive in going for it but Oregon just went on 4th and 1 from their own 34, tied with 1:30 left, runner slipped and turned over on downs. So basically handed it to UW in field goal range at a time when they might not get the ball back.

UW got a FG with :51 left so they will get the ball back but damn. It's such a fine line between brilliant and stupid.

Nix was out because he got his bell rung so what was the real benefit of going for it on 4th down there? If you get it, are you really putting it in the backup's hands to throw passes to get you into FG range? Yes, the Quacks were having success in the running game but at that point, one has to think Washington's D is going to stack up the box with the backup QB in there so getting the 40 yards needed for a FG chance are pretty remote. But hey, the computers said go for it and so many coaches play by the computer and in this case, Oregon got what they deserved.

What's the deal with 6 SEC teams playing garbage G5 or FCS opponents on November 19?

They've been doing that for years. I think they elect to start the conference season the 3rd week of the season so that leaves some teams to schedule their 3rd non-con game (most always a patsy) for this time, the week before the rivalry weekend. But don't sleep on Western against Auburn this week.

Virginia hasn't decided about whether or not they are playing Saturday. The AD and Tony Elliott are letting the team decide, which I would imagine would have to happen soonish. Judging from things on my campus (we're Virginia's next opponent), they are practicing as if the game is going to happen. Or at least working out as a team.

My guess is they'll say 'that's what they would've wanted' and play. I'll be shocked if the administration turns their back on the money they stand to lose.

My school will be paid well though, as we are one of those soft pre-rivalry week opponents. I think, at 9-1, we could beat Virginia if our starting QB was healthy.

I think there's something to being in the grind that would help me with the grief, but I know that might not be the case for everybody.
