This will be a fun matchup. My one and only piece of advice for the defense -- COVER THE TIGHT ENDS!!

First ever matchup vs. Utah. I was going to say first matchup vs a team from Utah but we've played BYU several times including a really fun Holiday Bowl in my freshman year of college where Dave Daniels made an incredible grab on a Tony Sacca throw.

Weird fact, at .708 Utah has the best bowl game winning percentage in college football, but they are on a 3 game losing streak.

I would love to attend the rose bowl game one year.

Hmm. Looked up his early draft status. #17 ranked WR? So, what, 4th round pick maybe? 5th? 4.49 40 time...if he could get that to a 4.39 it would boost him quite a bit IMO. Great possession receiver and great on contested catches. Not flashy, but reliable as hell. He'll turn 21 in March.

I'll never fault anyone for making the jump, but I'd also think that next year would be an opportunity for him to potentially improve that draft status. Then again, 'there are no guarantees so go when you can' seems prudent.

I absolutely would not mind seeing him in black and gold.

I think he’s one of those guys that is going to have a really good combine and start sneaking up and pushing 3rd round.

Either way, he’s getting drafted and has a shot. There are no guarantees to what next year might bring. He could work himself up to 1st or 2nd round, but he could blow out a knee and be done for life.

Strange entering the draft as well (still playing in the bowl game).

I feel like a ton of 3rd+ round draft picks are declaring from the team. It’s kinda weird, but good for them. Go get drafted.

It really sucks that the winter classic and the rose bowl game are going head to head (for us Pens/PSU fans)

It does, makes me wish for the days when they put picture in picture in tube TVs. I looked up why they no longer do this and apparently, there's just no call for it. Personally I used the hell out of it.

I will finagle it somehow. At least put one on the TV and the other on the computer.

DVR one and watch the other live. You can't do the message board follow-along thing but you get to skip a ton of commercials. Hell, you can probably catch up to the end of the football game live if you watch the Pens live and they start at the same time.

I have two tvs in my basement. One is the main tv and one is above my bar. This seems like the ideal usage for them.

Pens game is at 2, Penn State's at 5. Unless there's weather issues, the hockey game should be done before the Rose Bowl starts.

Penn State football posted an infographic saying kick was at 2PM. I was thwarted by the Pacific time zone again!

Long break since last game and playing a ranked opponent. I've got a bad feeling about this.

Waste of a challenge. That was a clear TD.

And of course it takes like a day and a half to get to the kickoff.
