My daughter appears to be just naturally evolving out of her dairy allergy.
Ice cream parties will be nice, but bonus point for her being less likely to choke to death.
We still have some tree nuts to deal with but dairy’s been the big one. Fingers crossed she passes all her milk challenges.

My son has an allergy to raw vegetables. AKA the luckiest allergy a kid could have.

My wife developed an allergy to raw celery and kiwi as an adult. It's unfortunate because those are two of her favorites, especially celery in chicken salad sandwiches. On the bright side, I get all the celery when it's wing night! My son has an allergy to raw vegetables. AKA the luckiest allergy a kid could have.

My son hit the ball all 4 times he was up to bat. I’m so proud of him, he’s been practicing everyday with a hit-stick. He was so shocked on the first hit he didn’t run at first and when he did he took the bat with him. This is the first year where they count strikes and can get out so this was a big deal for him. It’s also good because I can reinforce that practice and working hard leads to results. Just so damn happy for him, he got the game ball as well.

if carrots were better than celery with wings, then that's what would be served. people know about carrots. it's not like sun dried tomatoes in 1996. options were evaluated and the choice was made. this is non-negotiable

Nah, BW3 offers carrots. There's a need and most wing places serve that need, because true people know celery is ****, so the refined tasters move to carrots.

you out you damn mind, child. they use celery because nobody else has any use for it. the carrot market is oversaturated. carrots are everywhere. celery is all alone taking up space in crates a la raiders of the lost ark. so they dump them on the wing crowd and give them a gallon bucket of ranch to wash it down.if carrots were better than celery with wings, then that's what would be served. people know about carrots. it's not like sun dried tomatoes in 1996. options were evaluated and the choice was made. this is non-negotiable

Hooters isn’t buying celery stalks to make an artisanal celery salt curing agent and then giving you the waste. This is an active choice.

I’m sure the history of celery and wings has some stupid connection and it is antiquated and dumb and this is 2021 let’s flip to not a garbage food like celery.

"That's the way it's always been done" doesn't mean it's better, shmenguin... you know this.

I think models should be updated with new information. But carrots are not that. Give me something like jicama to weigh against celery and it’s a discussion. Carrots already lost."That's the way it's always been done" doesn't mean it's better, shmenguin... you know this.

You've got plenty of people here claiming carrot superiority...I think models should be updated with new information. But carrots are not that. I'm curious, with the number of bad takes you've got, do you ever... and I mean ever... take a step back and think, "ya know what. Maybe I'm wrong here."?

"Buffalo wings weren't actually invented in Buffalo, they were invented in Dubrovnik, Croatia. I dined at Velika Krila, near the city centre, about a decade ago. Wings are not supposed to come in dozens, you actually order them by the septet (seven). They were served with leeks and radishes which IMO are far superior to carrots/celery. YMMV."True.
