Really happy to see that he has continued to be productive. He is a free agent for the first time this offseason going into his age 33 season. He earned about $53 million on the contract he signed with the pirates many moons ago. I hope he gets another contract worth $10 to 15 million for a few years. Not a lot of guys get that second juicy contract, but he hasn’t aged much so I’m hoping he gets paid.

Plus he has a history of a willingness to use roids so teams will like that.

I can't wait for the Cardinals to wilt once they get into the playoffs and break their streak. There's something about long winning streaks in the 4 major sports and not winning it all. See: Penguins 1993, Blue Jackets 2016, Patriots 2007, Indians 2017, and on and on.

Even the Orioles and Diamondbacks this year: pretty sure they aren't as bad as the Pirates, but both teams had 17+ game losing streaks and will get a higher draft pick because of it.
