I've always wondered why that doesn't happen more. Then again, that looked intentional.

Unless Arod has always been juicing, he was a great player without. They made him one step better. I would guess that without steroids, the net loss would be less than 100 home runs. Obviously just wild speculation though.
Yep. And he wouldn't have missed 180 games by being suspended

That shouldnt happen more often because the batter isnt interfering as long as hes in the box. He isnt supposed to move.

Right. It's just after playing/watching baseball for so long I've never seen it, but was always in the back of my mind about if it could happen. Then it did, although it looks fake/intentional which makes me wonder even more.

Mentioned it in the other thread, but those two catchers are on the same depth chart.

I like Joe Kelly. I like to think of him as that hipster with an arm.

Catchers that hold their hand out like that deserve to get hit in the hand.

haha, Yankees won't pay Aroid his homerun milestone bonus money. Might be the first thing they ever did that I liked.

So, are we looking at Mark Prior 2.0?

I kind of assumed that but i determined that he was this a year or so ago just because it seemed he was destined to fall apart.

True. It was the shoulder discomfort that really made me think of Prior this year.

It kind of ruins things. It was fun when the braves always beat him and he was doing well against everyone else.

Of course they also beat up on the nats in general and that may be done anyway. The braves are bad enough that they lose even in spite of being in the nats' heads.
