On a lefty from the stretch. Haven't seen that. Usually it's a bases loaded situation where they go from the windup
quick and heads up move from the pitcher to step back/not balk and go home. love that play

Is it barstool’s goal to just be the most obnoxious thing in the world?

Probably.

When you have first base open with less than 2 outs, you walk the guy to set up a force at the plate, right? But not Kevin Cash. Remember, kids, he was the same dope who took out Snell when he was on fire in a do-or-die game last year because a computer told him to. Guys like him have no business managing in the playoffs and I'm always happy when analytics loses.

eh it’s tough. You have Devers on deck who is more likely than Kiké to get the ball deep

Scherzer pitched seven one hit innings last night with ten strikeouts and the Dodgers lost 1-0.

Analytics are great in a 162 game sample.

Not so great in a 5 game one.

KC likes this.

Rather those dirty hippies in SF win than the 700M dodger payroll

I have the Red Sox/Rays game on Fox Sports and the picture quality is garbage. It's blurry.

Sox/Astros LCS? Worst possible thing for a Yankees' fan.

It's going to be intense. I am a Red Sox fan and I **** loathe the Astros. The stars aligned and I am all in.

Is having Alex Cora as the manager and rooting for the Red Sox like the Yankees having Arod and rooting for them?

you're a Sox fan? don't think I knew that

I'm lukewarm on the Stros. My brother is an Astros fan and so I've always had a soft spot for them and the killer B's era

We had a PM conversation about it a long time ago. Maybe at the old board.
I lived in Quincy when I was a kid.

I spent part of my two weeks of R&R from Afghanistan getting drunk at Fenway, watching Wakefield get shelled:

Literally all 4 teams I didn't want to advance, advanced. And yes, I know the giants and dodgers still play.

No interest in the league and ws this year now.

no reason check swings aren’t reviewable. They’re generally pretty easy to tell

Gabe Morales was that idiot umpire at first base that made that swing call. Send him back to Triple-A. You can't miss that call in that caliber of game.
