The stadium is awesome. Pinhead Rob Ianello came from ND and led us to 2 straight 1-11 seasons to open it up, so unfortunately it's only been full a couple times. It's known as the Ianello Pigskin Holocaust on the Akron board I frequent

So...2016 here yet? I honestly can't fathom the buildup, hype, and trolling on this board. It is going to be effing glorious.
I'll probably get banned
I will be at the game with various 5AF signs.

update: 13 losses. Forgot about the trip to louisville.

The cuse is a good time and a good ride. That was this gentleman's first road trip. Way back when donovan mcnabb was there and kenny the kangaroo was a mere youngster.

Where is everyone sitting in Akron? I see the one whole side of the stadium is GA. Thinking of making the trip with my wife, but was just curious where everyone else was going to be.

PITT going script in all sports by 2017
Saw something on twitter late last night but wasn't sure what it was all about?
My first thought was "why does this 'news' come out at 11pm on Sunday night?"
Was it announced by Pompeani on his Sunday night rant show or something?

It was an early reveal of Sam Werner's article today in the PG.

Yeah, the tickets we have is GA. I'm just going to try to sit where I see the most Pitt fans.

Nice pickup. Top 50 CB in the country and was between Pitt, UWV, VaTech, and Arizona State, home of the high-octane offense.

The 24/7 Pitt beat guy -- Karlo Zovko -- who has a hit and miss record with this kind of stuff, tweeted out last night that Narduzzi has a "HUGE move" that he would rate "9.5 out of 10" but that he cannot release yet.

sorry for pointing out that Pitt script was among the top complaints for Pitt fans over the past twenty or so years, yet no one seems remotely excited about the switch

Two deep (plus some extras) for Saturday:

QB: Voytik, Peterman
RB: Conner, James, Ollison, Hall
WR: Ford, Zeise
WR: Challingsworth, Henderson
TE: Holtz, Orndoff
LT: Bisnowaty, Reese
LG: Johnson, Guy
C: Officer/Rowell
RG: Bookser, Herndon
RT: O'Neill, Baker

DE: Soto, Poker
DT: Mosley-Smith/Scarpinato
NT: Jarrett, Taleni
DE: Price, Folston, Edwards
SLB: Grigsby, Steinbeck
MiLB: Galambos, Wirginis
MoLB: Caprara/Bradley
CB: Pitts, Motley/Briggs
CB: Maddox, Lewis
SS: Amara/Whitehead
FS: Mitchell, Webb

Dickie Dunn's Takeaways:

- It's amazing to see Brian O'Neill listed as the starting RT. He switched positions like 3 months ago. Him starting is dependent on Artie Rowell's status. If he's good to go, Alex Officer moves to RG and Bookser moves to RT.

- Surprised to not see Mike Grimm anywhere on the two-deep at offensive line. He was regarded as a big, mean, strong offensive lineman coming out of Bethel Park. He's fallen behind less regarded classmate Mike Herndon on the depth chart, so he must be a bit slow picking up the intricacies of the position.

- The WR corps without Boyd is even more depressing once you see it on paper. Hope to see some big things from Elijah Zeise to get a sense of the future of the position.

- Much in the same regard, it's nice to see Henderson and Tipton (listed behind Henderson on the depth chart) making their way into the top six at WR. Two true freshman provides some extra hope for the future.

- Surprise absences from the WR two-deep: Rafael Araujo-Lopes, the JUCO transfer from California that was assumed to be an instant contributor, and Chris Wuestner, who was Chryst's great white hope at the receiver position despite contributing nothing on the field.

- Wonder where Rori Blair fits in with the DE rotation once he returns from suspension. I'm assuming with Soto and Poker.

- I expect JUCO DE Allen Edwards to be used as a pass rushing specialist.

- I have no idea who SR linebacker Matt Steinbeck is. I don't think that bodes well for our depth at the position.

- Dennis Briggs, who switched from RB midway through spring practice, is listed as the co-backup to Lafayette Pitts, which also doesn't bode well for the depth at this position and is why I expected Whitehead to be at CB.

- With that being said, its nice to see Whitehead listed as co-starter at SS. I expect him to make an impact this season.
