#Oldpeopleproblems
I prefer the term savvy veteran, but #oldpeopleproblems is probably more accurate.

touché

I even went for the always usually-reliable aspirin and two bottles of water. I didn't think I was even gonna be that bad the next morning, but I had planned on running a five miler and wanted to make sure I was good for that 6 am wakeup on Sunday.

So not only did I not run, I slept through my alarm, didn't wake up until almost 9, and felt like crap for the majority of the day.

Sierra Nevadas new beer camp is a tropical ipa. I hope it's better than the fresh squeezed, which seems to be what they're trying to go after

Edit: I love fresh squeezed, as does almost everybody

I'm not a huge fan of the fresh squeeze so I hope it's better as well.

I saw new belgium had a tangerine ipa in the store yesterday, citradelic or something like that? Anyone try?

Tried the Sweetwater IPA last night. Piney smell, Grapefruit bomb. Pretty hoppy, but not overly bitter. Very good. 2/2 on the Tackle Box so far.

Had a series of St Bernardus beers last night, Abt 12, Prior 8, Pater 6, and the Trippel. Think the Prior 8 was the best of them.

Quality assurance (run all the chemical testing on the beer). I'm sure I'm way over qualified, but it would be an absolute dream job just running analysis on raw material and beer throughout and at the end of the brewing process. I'm sure the pay probably isn't great compared to some of the places I've been applying, but the enjoyment I'd get out of it is likely through the roof.

I saw an article from Dogfish Head talking about their qa one time. It talked about how they sometimes intentionality spiked the test batches with chemicals to simulate infections and such to keep the testers on their toes.

So wonder if that's the kind of stuff you'd be doing.

Cool at any rate. Good luck man.

Stone Enjoy By (2/14) is awesome. As is Yards Golden Hop. You can't beat Stone Enjoy By in my book, but for a fantastic IPA with hints of Belgian yeast, Yards Golden Hop is fantastic. And I don't really like most stuff from Yards.

Yesterday on the way north, we stopped at Berkeley Springs Brewing Co. Pretty good spread of beer, and live music on a Saturday afternoon. The food was good too, light fare appropriate for a brewery. Their fresh beer for the weekend was "Stout Girl Scout", a Thin-Mint based beer. (They are just off of 522 in Berkeley Springs, just south of Sheets, McDonald's and Subway and just north of the Dairy Queen)
